Left 4 Dead 2 Announced at E3

So, apparently all those who said that the sequel will be called L4D 2 were right. The trailer showcased at e3, moments ago indicated so. The team now consists of a guy that looks like Louis on steroids (pills!) and a black version of Zoey. Well, at least they try to mix it up... The other members I did not see. The trailer was pre rendered, so no info on gameplay was revealed.

Oh, I was rooting for Left 2 Die. And focus on the slightly different path of 2-player co-op. Like Army of Two, but good/better.

Also it's curious that Valve is going with a new retail package instead of supporting the game like they have been for TF2. Maybe L4D has a worthwhile console install base so they're going with retail packages; the Orange Box console versions haven't seen any of the new content the PC version did.

Hm, like the idea of more zombie killing fun with the last three sane people on earth, but not so sure about changing the characters. I've become quite attached to my chosen character, Zoey!

I tend to think of things as sequels if they include the same characters as the original, because it continues their stories (Not that there was much story to L4D, just saying is all.)

I must admit it's quite a surprise that they would announce L4D2 so quickly after the first games was released. i mean it's only been what like 8-9 months since the first came out. And were getting trailers for the sequel? seems a bit strange to me. Never the less i look forward to it regardless as it's Valve were talking about. they will ensure that it will be a good game.

It seems to be set in the southern US, Louisiana maybe? And from what I saw all four characters were black. Personally I'm looking forward to it. There seemed to be a variation on the Tank as well. I'm loving it though. Can't wait.

This will get delayed, and will look drastically different from what the game looked like in the trailers near the end.
