The Passing is here people. Finally, the three annoying dudes and Ellis meet the real Left 4 Dead survivors. Or at least, three of them.
Has anyone had a chance to play any yet? What did you think?
Personally I've only had a chance to play though the new Campaign once on normal so far. And I have to be honest, it's a little disappointing. I completed the entire thing and survived in just under 40 minutes. Kind of blows for a first attempt. It will certainly be great to have a go at it with Expert since we may actually be able to do it in under 3 hours. The new Midnight Riders song is great though, a variation on the awesome "Knocking on Heavens Door".
While I haven't had a go with the M60 yet I've seen the damage it can do and it's pretty devastating. Certainly balanced out by the fact there's only enough bullets for about 5 minutes at best. The Golf club doesn't feel all that great to me. Generally I like the smash damage weapons such as the Cricket and Bassball bat, but it's really difficult to get a satisfying head shot with this weapon.
Lag is preventing my from playing much other than that so far, but I played a little of the first of the new Mutations. For those who don't know, Mutations are essentially a new game mode that is changed every single week. They're essentially variations on the all ready existing modes, the first one being "Realism Versus". In this mode the Zombies have the complete upper hand with the Survivors having to deal with the Realism game mode effects, such as no bloom around the rest of the team, less damage to infect beyond head shots and instant kill witches. Spawning as a jockey in this mode is great fun.
This thread is probably a little premature since anyone who actually has should be playing right now. Still, what you think?
