so i bought l4d2 today and everytime i try to play a game its lagging ridiculously bad. the people that were in the games with me said its been the same for them. so what i want to know is if anyone has any info as to why this is happening and/or if valve is fixing this major problem. i am playing on 360. (im not looking for pc users saying xbox sucks so if thats what you are going to type dont bother)

yea it was just released today. the matches fill up immediately but everyones connection is always at 1 bar for some reason

It is cause people are using dedicated servers, not local ones. IT is sad that no one has figured this out yet. I hope Valve figures out there Xbox servers are bad news.
Until then, just switch your server type to local. It is in the game settings menu when you make a server. You can also change it after you make the lobby.

Prob cause u and a few other million ppl are playing it at the same time and overloading the servers. Give it time for less traffic or some wort of fix...it was just released. I like how ppl say the same thing about MW2. and i can't help but say to them umm hello..did u see how many were sold in the first few days?!?! Chill out ppl, it will be okay.
Don't you remember last X-mas (or was it the 1 before) when everyone got a 360 and killed thier servers for a day or 2. We got a free copy of Undertow for it. My guess with MW2 and L4D2 launching so close that they are stuggling to just keep the basics going right now.
