Left 4 Dead Expert and Dlc

Let me just start with saying this, I frickin love this game mostly because of the online, so obviously when i heard about the Dlc that is coming out i freaked out, but now the thing that pisses me off is that it probably won't be free, there have been some rumours that it will be free but i doubt it, but for people like me (teenagers) we spend most our money on a new game, and when i hear about dlc coming out it pisses me off, i spent about £40 on a game now i must spend another £10 to play the Dlc isn't it enough that i bought xbox live gold for another £40, this is utter bs and i believe that all dlc should be free or atleast cheaper.

It's free, but this is in general, e.g. Fallout COD 4 map pack

Now let me get the expert part of L4D, some people complain that expert on L4D is too hard... now the word "expert" usually suggests you must be a expert at the game (sorry for stating the obvious) but come on you dont really expect for the expert mode of the game to be a walk in the park, i mean yeah maybe they could of made it so we could kill the tank a bit more easily but thats what makes the game so damn hard, you would probably complain that the game was too easy if they had removed expert mode. Umm also to the people that bought this game for the single player prepare to be dissapointed you are gonna miss out on the full experience of expert because of your retarded team mates, im sorry to say but i believe that your ai team mates arent good enough for expert, you will have to go through the game slowly with them and when you get to the crescendo points prepare to get screwed over by not only the special infected but also normal infected.

I am pretty certain I read on Steam that it is free. I shall come back and edit once I double check.

DLC stands for Downloadable Content, you amy know it as Expansions, Map pack... etc

If any of you find the Tank hard to kill on expert then you should find a molotov, throw it at him and then run for the hills!

Oh, one more thing: when running from the tank, I strongly recomend that you dont go back into the safe room unless your absolutely sure that the tank will not make it. Your probably wondering why, but its for good reason.. He can get into the safe room as easy as goblin pie!

I hope they can improve the AI too, they are absolutely retarded!

The only DLC I have ever encountered that was to be payed for was for fallout 3 which I refused to pay for. Try a PC man, the DLC is rarely charged for, so far anyway...

Well this is what i have heard...
It will contain new special infected, new weapons, prob a new campaign or two AND the other two campaigns on versus mode... And i believe a survival mode, prob like a defence of a house or something that is close to cod 5 zombie.

Yeah, I agree the AI is NO GOOD for expert since I recently found myself skilled enough to play on it. Ha my only problem now is finding people online that can play on expert as my friends die on easy and normal.

That may not be the best thing to do, on expert the tank runs faster when its on fire.

The dlc is just opening up the other 2 scenarios and a survival add. I want the DLC the creators mentioned when they spoke about the characters and the snow level.

I hate that companies feel the need to start making DLC for games they haven't even released yet. If they are already making it they should stick it in the retail version. Same goes for things that should have been in the game from the beginning but were obviously left out so that they can be released as DLC. I love the fact the Valve are making this DLC free.

On the topic of the AI not being very useful I find that having an AI team member with you on versus mode is quite helpful due to the fact that they seem to take out special infected that are hidden behind trees etc.

Because said content was not ready / up to satisfaction at the time? I mean would you rather have FREE DLC when the content is ready, or have it chucked on the disk, not only offering a possible delay (if it has to be up to scratch) but possibly reducing review scores?

L4D expert mode is still slightly too easy i reckon (tanks are fine as they are though), I reckon they should add one more difficulty above it that takes even absolute pros about 4 attempts to do any single map....

Oh, and i've been meaning to out this idea for versus - increase tank health overall, but also increase molotov damage to cancel out change (so they die at same speed for fire, but slower to autoshotty spam)
