I'm kind of tired of these games that come to the ps3 late. Either port it immeadiatly or don't. No one wants to play the same game if it's already some months old.
And why anyone would not play L4D on the PC is beyond me.
Well, for all the people waiting, It's a pretty good game

well for me, my pc doesn't have a good video card. so i think, even though it's EA doing it, it will be good.

This was proven wrong. There were endless posts about this at the time. Valve have stated that the PS3 will not see this game... PLEASE!!! Stop getting your hopes up, and plus, IT'S EA! The Orange Box anyone?

EA are porting it, it's going to be a disaster.

They do the ports of every valve game for consoles, so every time you play a valve game on a console EA's dirty hands have been all over it.

I've never owned a Valve game on a console after Half Life on PS2, which was done by Gearbox and wasn't bad.
EA's track history states anything they touch will instantly fills with bugs and clipping issues which will never be fixed in any future updates.

Valve really hates the Playstation. I'm sure it's going to worse than the 360 version, but I have a good computer so I would get it for PC anyway.

When I eventually get L4D, I'm getting it on the PC. I'd rather play it with a mouse anyway.

Valve are trying to make a statement for Sony to stop being stupid and make their consoles easier to develop for.

I'm not a big console gamer, so no hate for Sony personally, but that is how some developers feel. Since Valve is one of the last few studios that are still making their titles primarily for PC, I don't think they should be looked down upon for this.

They port to 360 because it's easy and profitable. Apparently it's not for PS3.

I loved The Orange Box on PS3 (another of the EA ports of a Valve game). Many people complained it was a disgusting conversion. I'm kind of glad I never played any of The Orange Box on PC or 360, since as I have nothing to compare the PS3 port to, and since TOB was immense, I really don't care.

Doubt I'll buy Left 4 Dead though even if it DOES come out (I get OPM every month - that screenshot shown from the magazine is of a rumour column), since zombies tend to freak me out.

Personally iv come to love console gaming, but i would NEVER buy a valve game for anything but PC. Lets face it its how they where meant to be player. It all works so much better.

Oh man, sorry, I just couldnt help myself. I mean, have you seen the console versions of the Orange Box? Hahahahaaaaaa...Okay, if you really, really, really must have L4D at its most basic, big-ridden, unsupported state then by all means pick it up. However, if you want an enjoyable, long-lasting experience then you're going to have to pick up the PC version.
