I'm no hardcore gamer, but as much as ive seen of the zombie apocolypse type, Left 4 Dead does alot right. I actually enjoyed playing as Bill, and just meleeing through the horde. I never got a chance to experiment with the zombies themselves though, which i'm kind of bummed about. As for storyline, I cant argue as to the fact that there is one, but lets face it, a zombie apocolypse is not going to be scripted, so the somewhat-free-roam and lax story telling do fit
