How could you possibly like L4D better than L4D2? Its the same thing but with more realistic characters, more stuff, new enemies and awesome gore!

i liked l4d2 more because of the graphic updates, more weapon variety and you can hit a tank with a frying pan i mean tht has to be the highlight of the game... chasing a tank with a frying pan

However i liked the l4d characters more be great when the passing comes out

L4D lets me shoot zombies at point blank range with an auto-shotgun...
L4D2 let's me see spines after I shoot a zombie in the back at point blank range with a shotgun...

Left 4 Dead 2. It's such an improvement on the first. More game modes, more weapons, more zombies. And it's much harder. See, Valve took everything that was wrong with the first one and improved it for the second one. It was probably mostly to just point in the faces of the boycotters and yell "HA!" but I think we're all very thankful anyway.

A machine gun with a chainsaw on the front beats out an AK-47 any day.

If they were going to upgrade the original, then why would they have made Left 4 Dead 2?

Speaking of which, despite my reservations, I am going to try out Left 4 Dead 2 soon, and I guess we'll see...

At first I preferred L4D1, but then I got used to the rebalancing, infected, weapons, etc, and can now say that I prefer L4D2.
