In L4D, my usual team and I all had one and only one character that we would play as, and conveniently they were all different. I was Bill. Now, in L4D2 I don't like the any of the characters quite as much, but my two favorites that I swap between are Coach and Ellis.

I try not to play as Rochelle because we have an unwritten rule that whoever plays as her can only use the frying pan.

In Left 4 Dead- Louis Dont like the character design of any of the other 3, (original concept for Zoey looked awesome tho)
In Left 4 Dead 2- Nick (In real life im increadibly sarcastic so I enjoy everything Nick says, plus he wears a white suit to a zombie apocalipse, that mans got style)

In L4D I like to choose Zoey because she says the funniest things. I've also noticed that i tend to get aid (given pills/health, rescued from special infected before others) more often when I plays as Zoey.

Louis most of the time because he's just funnier than the rest of them. But sometimes I like being Francis because he's a badass.
