It sounds like an ok Idea and I bet there are more then a few people who would play it but in all honesty I think it will be crushed under the weight of the new MMOs that have come out now. and by the time it would be finished they will be big and powerfull like mini world of warcrafts.

No.
Never.
No way.
go to hell.

I very much doubt Nintendo would do any MMO anyway, they dont want gamers to talk to each other let alone play together.

Plus, button-mashing combat controls don't work well in an mmo.
Although I'd think an MMO with action-adventure esque controls, like Ninja Gaiden etc would be far more awesome than the typical "Press number 1. Wait for cooldown. Press number 2 etc"

Then it'd be more about skill, and not just the knowledge and memory to memorize what numbers to press.
Also, you could then defeat an instance boss by yourself, if you really are good at the game.

No, just no.
Am I the only person in the world that picks up on this redundancy? No offense to you because I see this a million times a day from everybody on the internet(and I have a knack for picking up on redundancies). If it's just no, then just the one "no" works to cover you bases. In addition to that, following it up with more text when it was supposed to be just no makes one wonder if it really is just no.

My nitpicking quota is fulfilled for the week now.

Anyway, I'm going to also say no to LoZ being an MMO, considering I respect the franchise enough not to want to pummel it into the ground and ruin it, and I just don't think it would do very well in this current market.

LFG? After me and my friends finish our Zora/Hylian/Goron cybering [http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=cyber] session, we're going to head down to the Kokiri village and farm them [http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=farming] for xp and drops.

They look like easy lootz.

I can see where you're coming from, but I just don't think it would work. It just wouldn't feel like a zelda game if there were big crowds of people everywhere, or if you weren't playing Link.

Non taken.
"No, just no" was my short answer, but I don't want to just say no because people on here actually want a bit of discussion, so i give my reasoning.

You should work for EA.
You Champion! I guess this more of what people want more than what people need, I would still like to see a game about Ganondorf instead of Link.

No

No NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO

no.

No. anyway, this is a horrible idea, Zelda follows too much of a base plot for it to be an MMO and the villians in the game are so powerful that typically only link can defeat them because he holds the power of the Triforce. I do not want to see 100,000 people weilding the power of the triforce.

Oh and, NO NO NO.

Contrary to everyone else I think it sounds like a fantastic idea.
What pisses people of in MMORPGs?
Grind: well if it was in the Zelda universe you could simply level up by beating dungeons and bosses
Shity Combat: the Zelda combat system is one that not only is fast and efficient but also one that would work well with others especially with all the cool spells and items and what-not.
Also just think about how much fun it would be to run through dungeons with friends you could have puzzles and bosses that would require more then one person to defeat
