I liked the Ancient Cistern level, and that would be about it.

I liked Zelda's look too.

But yeah everything else up until the final fight with Demise was just forgettable. He was actually pretty cool, shame he is only in the game for like 6 minutes.

Fighting the giant thing TWICE was totally unnecessary.

Changing up the established canon with the Goddess vs. Demise crap was also unneeded.

When a Zelda game gives me fond memories of Twilight Princess or even Ocarina...it has failed in my eyes.

I would have to say that having to fight the Imprisoned three times was complete bullshit. I hated that "boss", and I found it just an annoyance to fight.

The game might be linear, but in my eyes, gameplay makes up for the linearity of the game and plot line

It's my least favorite Zelda. It has the best story of all of them, but it's one big tutorial. So much fucking hand-holding. Every 2 min, Fi would pop up and say "There's an 80% chance that you have to do exactly this over there!". Puzzles aren't puzzles if you give out the answer. Exploring isn't exploring if the tour guide doesn't let you experience it for yourself.

It's honestly my favorite Zelda game, I had no issues with the controls (except for the thrust) and the gameplay was quite lengthy and fun, I put maybe 50 hours into the first playthrough. I didn't find Fi annoying either, I guess I don't get annoyed as easily as other people do.

I'd put it right behind Monster Hunter Tri in my favorite games for the Wii.
