The legend of zelda series is dead..... Once you play one you play them all.
Technically seconded. You'd think that after the seventh they'd find a way to actually kill Gannondorf instead of locking him in an obviously escapable prison.

Or is each game supposed to be an entirely different storyline all together? And if so, wtf?
Technically thirded, The Zelda series ALWAYS includes Gannon/dorf and yet he seems to never fully die, which paves way for Nintendo to make another Zelda game therefore increasing the duration of the series, and then increasing money made by the same friggin' franchise.

Gannondorf seem's to have a "Get Out Of Jail Free" card.

And TheNecroswanson, each game involves Ganondorf doing something abd in one way or the other.

The main plot in Zelda kind of reminds me of mario you know ganondorf always holding zelda in a castle just like bowser kidnapping peach and you have to go through a series of worlds, dungeons or whatever to save her.

I don't know if I'm just someone who needs frequent self-esteem boosts, but I sort of like the obvious weak points. At least for a moment, I feel smart and think "Oh-ho-ho, Nintendo, you think you can outwit me? It's clear that I need to [x] [y] so that I can [z]!!"

Careful... Tell them all thier games are too samey and we'll end up with a Zelda Galaxies, or The triFORCE Unleashed. And if Link ever gets his hands on a lightsaber, the series will truly be dead with no hope of revival, if only in my mind.

The meatsource of the Zelda franchise has been picked bone dry and had all remains sent to th glue factory. There's nothing left, so stop making them, Nintendo.

I was really disappointed with TP. I was hoping the wolf/human switchup would make things better, but it really didn't. I suppose it really disapointed me because I enjoyed Windwaker so much.
in defence of nintendo however, they did try something different with four swords, which I also enjoyed quite a bit.

I think the series is doing pretty good at the moment, A lot of people believe Ganondorf died at the end of TP that being the case I wonder what they will do for the next game.

I don't mind them making games like TP seeming so close to Ocarina of Time, it has a great feel and as long as the bosses are different and the temples are different then I still will have great fun!

I have played ALTTP, OoT, MM, TWW, TP and think that the series still has a lot of potential. They had some interesting storyline ideas thrown in with TP about the whole Twilight World being Parallel to our current world, and they had something going with Zant just they need to try the same sort of thing again but in a different direction.
