Legendary Pictures teases Mass Effect movie at Comic-Con

I recently read up about this. Personally I think it will be really fun and I'm very excited. It's not going to be something that's going to win Oscars, let's face it, but I'm sure it will be enjoyable.

The plot lines of Mass Effect haven't been spectacular sure, but just look at Avatar. That was Pocahontas rehashed COMPLETELY and was absolutely cliche and it is the highest grossing film of all time.

I'm sure the special effects will be a real treat and it's confirmed that all the developers are on board with the movie and will have their hands in it during the entire development process so I wouldn't be too worried about that aspect.

I hope it's about the First Contact War. It will be the least alienating (lol) for new viewers and can appeal to a large audience by being just a simple science-fiction war movie.

I would be more concerned about the Mass Effect anime movie in the works. Who knows what the Japs will do ;P

I've always imagined Shepard as female so I guess I wouldn't enjoy a movie very much. I think it would kind of ruin it for me :/

Oh ye gods why!!!!!! Seriously, this is just dissapointing. Why make a movie on a series that is good enough as it is when there are movie series that could do with more like Transformers out there.

I'd rather see a Transformers 4 than see Mass Effect as a movie (or a Mass Effect sequel movie).
