I recently purchased the latest Lego Harry Potter and was not disappointed. It continued the tradition of interesting puzzles, humorous cut scenes and addictive gameplay. I've played most of the Lego games but have actually only owned the Harry Potter and Star Wars games. At the start I wasn't going to bother getting this, just play the demo and move on. But i convinced my girlfriend, who hates video games but loves Harry Potter, to try the co-op with me. We had so much fun with the demo that the next day i rushed out and bought the full game.

I've been wondering though, what other movie franchises would look good in lego? I would quite like to see a Lord of the Rings Lego game.

For bonus discussion, which is your favourite Lego game. I'm torn between Star Wars and Harry Potter. I prefer the Star Wars films but I think Harry potter has better game play.

Either Stunt Rally or Racers 2. I loved me some Lego Island as well.

Personally I think we should scar the minds of our youth by producing Lego Wasp Factory or Lego Yume Nikki.

I preferred the original Racers myself, Stunt Rally's a fun game though. I should really get round to playing the original Island, the only one I've got is Xtreme Stunts (AKA Lego GTA)

OT: Just so long as we don't get Lego Twilight, anything, frankly.

Lego Island 2, not the first one. The first was a bit boring, but Lego Island 2 was...just...wow

Also Rock Raiders was bloody awesome. And quite tricky!
I had the first Racers which was decent, and Stunt Rally was quite good.
Lego Chess was a good pass time but, as expected got a bit tedious.

Years ago, when I was part of the Lego Club (oh yes) I wrote in asking if they would ever do Lego LotR. They did not.

The Lego Star Wars games are actually pretty damn fun. The other week a mate of mine bought the Complete Story on the Wii and we just stayed up for most of the night playing it. Fun times.

Anyone remember Lego Alpha Team..?
Yes. I tried to play it not that long ago, and I get a horrible bug with sound looping the first 3 seconds.

Where is my Lego Mass Effect? Introduce kiddy-winkies to a well written and well acted plot early on via the wonderful medium of LEGO!

Also, LEGO Wrex. No further reasons necessary.

Except perhaps LEGO Legion.

Lego Island and Lego Chess were the two most played on gaes of my younger gaming years.

I work in toy retail and Lego have rights to a surprising amount of TV and Gaming liscences, Prince Of Persia, Spiderman, Toy Story and a ton more.

Oh also, Lego Rock Raiders. probably wasn't a good game but as is with childhood memories, it's all goddamn rainbows.
