That doesn't even make sense. They didn't have DLC until the current generation, or at least almost no one used it.Radeonx said:It is pointless. In my opinion, they should have stopped after the first game, and then keep selling albums and songs from all of the sequels as DLC.
Yea very excessive, you probably havent seen the trailor for "band hero" yet have youDalisclock said:I rather enjoyed the lego Star Wars and Indy games and someday I'm going to pick up the lego batman game.
However, when I saw the trailer for Lego Rock Band, even I have to roll my eyes a little. I have nothing againest rock band or the lego games, but for some reason, crossing the two just seems a little silly.
Does anyone else get a similar reaction? If not, at what point would you think that?
I think the point your missing is that some consoles have very limited HD space... People arn't going to go shell out 150$ for a new hd just for dlc. It's much easier to get people to shell out 60$ every 4 months or so cause they dont realize they could have just bought a new HD and alot of DLC for the same money. Its marketing ork at its finest.KingPiccolOwned said:That doesn't even make sense. They didn't have DLC until the current generation, or at least almost no one used it.Radeonx said:It is pointless. We the old school or long time gamers see this and say "F(*#& You" and get all the DLC we can handle but the people they are marketing that crap to arn't old school or long time gamers. it's the kiddos and mom and dat fo the kiddos that they are trying to appeal to.
Yup its like the dealer and the drug addict. You and I are hooked and we only buy the good stuff, the companies are not interested in us too much, they throw us a bone here and there. THey want to hook the newbies, thats where the money is at
I think Lego Little Big Planet would probably break the universe.DrunkWithPower said:They could have done worse, Lego Little Big Planet, Lego Katamari Damacy, the list goes on.
