So, every now and again you'll see a comment against Bioshock Infinite about it being racist.
Now, before you go 'oh wow you're just here to defend the game ha ha', no. I understand the game has flaws, but it being racist isn't one of them. Allow me to explain:
It isn't the game that's racist, it's Columbia, and the people in it. Does that make sense?
Take a delve into the game's universe, instead of the game in general. Look at it from the point of view of any Columbian citizen, or hell, even Booker himself (HE'S ACTUALLY A PRETTY GOOD CHARACTER YOU GUYS). Instead of seeing the game say how worthless people who aren't white are, you have the people of Columbia saying that.

Imagine everyone in it not being a bunch of ones and zeroes. Imagine the people being real. Imagine everything in it being real. Here, you have a bunch of real-life people drifting in the sky who hate Abraham Lincoln for freeing slaves and love Booth, enjoy slavery, and dress up like a mix between the Medieval Warfare guys and the KKK.
See what I mean? It's racist because that's Columbia.
Also, in before rage 'AMG WASN'T THAT SOUUUU OBVIAS?!' comments even though this topic is directed towards the people using Infinite being racist as an argument for it being bad.

My problem wasn't the racism, as I know it was part of the game.

My problem was the overly used blatant racism and religious blabbing made the story boring for me. I don't want to play THE INTERNET: THE GAME, I'd rather play Bioshock.
