What do you say to something like this? An icon of television, movies and the Sci-Fi genre is dead. How many of us first tasted science fiction with Star Trek TOS?
I would say I wish I were Vulcan, but I'm okay being sad about this. An iconic, if not great, actor has passed away.

I won't demean him by posting a link to Spock's funeral on Youtube.

Fuck man, this one hurts. Nimoy was always one of my favorite actors and he was a hell of an interesting guy. Now I have the urge to go play some Civ 4. He lived a long life and certainly did prosper.

Well ok, seriously this is saddening, as if 2015 is bad enough with the current deceased talented people. Sure I haven't watched the original series (did watched the fim) that he was famed for but he was talented as a voice actor (still loved his role as Galvatron).

I remember when he came to Phoenix for Comic-con a few years back, and I was lucky enough to grab a seat and hear him talk. It was the best day ever.
