And to stay on topic, I believe that you should be grateful for what you have, and avoid wasting things whenever you can. No one's asking you to shed a tear every time you hear about some tragic accident on the news, or reports of how bad living conditions really are in some third world countries, but do at least show a modicum of gratefulness and common sense.

Eat your damn "chikin" strips and spell better. If you're not that hungry, don't make so much food. Do you have a pet that likes chikin strips? It would be better than just throwing it out, man. Sometimes it is unavoidable, but just try not to be wasteful.

While you should not "modle" your life around the wants of other people, it should be in the back of your mind that the Earth doesn't revolve solely around you.
