I have a Packard Bell iMedia SL 9553.
It comes with a 2.59GHz Pentium 4 processor, 256mb DDR2 RAM, 40Gb HDD and ATI's Sapphire onboard graphics with Sigma-tel onboard sound too.
I've upgraded it to 2GB DDR3 RAM, a faster CD drive, a 180GB secondary HDD and an ATI Radeon X1300/X1550 series 256mb Graphics card, AGP slot. That was about 6 years ago, when the computer was already old.
I've been enjoying some Black & White 2 on low graphics at 25fps; some Unreal, UT99 and UT04 at 100, 80 and 45fps, in that order; and some 35fps Medieval 2: Total War on this hunk of shit computer I use.
Once my exams are over I'll be continually looking for a job until, well, I get one, simple as that. I will then save up for a new computer. It's funny really, that someone who knows their way around computers of many types like the back of their hand hasn't had a new computer in the last 10 years.
EDIT: Here's a video of mine from years ago. It's got my computer in it, which you can see at 11 seconds:
Wow, I hadn't even finished school then - and here I am doing a degree!
