Let's cast the Gears movie!

So, I've heard that a Gears of War movie is in the works and I've been think about who I'd want to play each character.

For Marcus, although he's too small, I'd have to say Keifer Sutherland. He's good at action and then his voice is really good for that part.

Amaury Nolasco could play a good Dom.

I was thinking in one sequence Marcus throws a lancer, its curving trajectory leads it into chainsawing a locust taking cover, then like a boomerang come back to marcus.

Wow! That was just so funny, it really needed to be said despite the fact that it contributed nothing to the discussion at all!

Just ignore Indigo, he's programmed to insult anything thats not on the PS3...as Gears is on the 360 he has to insult it...

As for the film; they should make it animated; using the cut-scenes from the game as a basis. They (the in-game cinimatics) were terrific.

Sidestepping the predictable popular games-bashing that always occurs in threads like these...
for Marcus, I'd say Ron Perlman. I feel he could real nail the killing machine attitude.
Maybe Michael Clarke Duncan for Cole?
Can't argue with the OP's thoughts on Dom and Baird, though.

When they finally find Dom's wife, and Dom is so focused on finding her that he hallucinates that she's just the way she was when she left, but she's actually a tortured, mentally deranged husk of a human being with no chance of recovery. Marcus has to bring Dom back to reality, and then walk away as Dom puts his pistol to her head to end her suffering.

Why do you people think anyone really cares what you think of this game in a thread like this? Do you really believe yourselves to be SO HILARIOUS! that we NEED to hear your comments?

I agree. Gorillas would be far cheaper than actual human actors, and they could do hilarious sketches with bananas in between gunfights.

Mickey Rourke is perfect for Marcus. Does well as the "big, ugly tough guy". Plus, he's generally cast in roles that don't need much acting talent or direction beyond "you're angry".
