To be honest I always loved the Power Rangers LightSpeed Rescue series.

Favorite song was the Light Speed Rescue theme.

Favorite Villains are Diabolico Zed and Queen Bansheera.

And my favorite Ranger was the Light Speed Rescue Red Ranger.

Oh, man. A talk about one of my favorite nostalgic shows. High school kept me away from the series, even though I had a number of friends who enjoyed it as much as I did.

If I have to list favorites, that's pretty tough. There's a good number of aspects and characters I've enjoyed most thoughout all 18 seasons. Still...

Favorite Season - Mystic Force, followed by Lightspeed Rescue. I've enjoyed Mystic Force more than most other seasons, despite the issue of the show and plot placing a lot of focus on a few characters rather than the whole team. I think the idea of medieval, magic-using Rangers was what drew me into this one.

Favorite Character - Jennifer "Jen" Scotts from Time Force. Aside from the fact that she's one of the tougher and more commanding pink rangers, and the one I recall with the best character arc that I've seen thus far, I have to commend her actor Erin Cahill for something else which makes her my favorite ranger. She is, to my knowledge, the only American ranger to tweet to the children of Japan through the Sentai tweet network as her ranger character.

Favorite Villain - Mesogog from Dino Thunder. A half-dinosaur Jekyl and Hyde character who believed in the superiority of dinosaurs over humans. He was also instumental in a few sub-plots for the white and black rangers that season. Sure, Zed and Rita were and always will be great as villains, but Mesogog beats both of them hands-down.

Favorite Moment - Seeing Bulk again in PR: Samurai. Let's face it, Bulk was a great foil back in the day. While Schrier is no Curly Howard, he still has his goofy side in top shape even 18 years later; most of the slapstick with he and Spike in Samurai is worth a chuckle.

As for the future of the series, I have to wonder how Saban is going to do Goseiger and Gokaiger. The former is relativly simple since it's an angel and card motiv for the series, but Gokaiger? Well...


If Saban can find some way to make this scene, let alone the whole concept, work for a Power Rangers season of Gokaiger, I will be VERY inpressed.

Yes, I did! I think I managed to watch every season up to... Wild Force. Then I didn't have much access and other stuff gained my focus, like internet forums.

But yeah... it was good times. I still know the themes for every season. Because those were some damn catchy songs.

As for your questions:

Fave series was probably the first. Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.

Song? Can't decide. I'm bad at favorites most of the time.

Character: Jason and Tommy- Red Ranger and Green Ranger from the original series. Zack, the black Ranger from the same series is up there too. *nods*

Ohh my god it was awful. I was like 7 years old and when I saw them being tossed forward by the terribly fake explosion of sparks I knew they'd jumped. I never watched the show again.
I was never really in to many 'real life' TV (non animated). Cept for like Sesame Street and Mr. Dressup. But those were mostly puppets.
Screw Power Rangers when I can watch Pokemon.

I sorta watched the new samurai one and yes I know its back in sabans hands but its not that great imo

Yes, I did and I would start watching it again too, if Power Rangers wasn't a thing that I absulute terrify of getting caught seeing... I would be absolutly awkward.

I watched it, and watched some of Samurai before we rearranged our entire entertainment center and left out the Set-Top box, so no more cable now (grew up without it so I don't care). I loved power ranger and still do, though the current toys are cheap and mostly plastic (older ones were sturdy). My mom thinks the series started going down hill after Bulk and Skull left, and I mostly agree with her.

The original of course. Watched up until they went into space, that's when the last of the original cast (okay it was just Billy at that point) left the show. Can't really beat the theme song. I did watch a few episodes later on just to see how the show progressed over time (watched some of MMPR for fun on netflix... god the dialogue was bag, but in a humorous way.)

Ah, loved the power rangers. The pink ranger was actually my first crush as a little kid. To be honest, I've got to say that five year old me had shocking good taste in girls.

My Tae Kwon Do instructor used to give all his inspirational speeches with some inclusion of the Power Rangers, he was clearly joking but it made them really fun.
