So, you've spent countless hours trying to prevent the 'hero' from foiling your plans, and now the little wretch has breached your inner sanctum (not innuendo, I swear). Time to destroy him/her.

Or perhaps not. Perhaps you have a grudging respect for the hero, and you are more a rivals than enemies. After watching each other from afar, it is now the time to test each other's skills. But win or lose, you will be thankful for the opportunity to fight a worthy opponent.

Or maybe you're just the comic relief bad guy who doesn't really know what your doing, and this is the seventh time the hero is about to kick your arse.

Whichever you are, you must have battle music to reflect your attitude towards the hero.

Much like Blade Master Alastor, motives and politics play no part in my fight against the hero.

I just want a battle for the ages with a kick ass backing track.

Well, since the title of this thread made me think of one song and one song alone, I'm sticking with it.

...Apparently I have a bit of Foe Yay going on with the hero.

Think about it. What music is more likely to cause the hero to, in a fit of rage, make a fatal mistake and fail?

Besides... gotta love that beat!

Reminds me of a thread I did a month ago :) [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.313293-You-are-now-the-final-bosss-best-minion#comment_form]

My powers would be that of ice and all my moves would have a chance of freezing. I'd use magic a fair bit but my frozen blade would also cause the hero some trouble as, after all, I am without an equal as a swordsman in the dark lords army. When I get my second wind, I transform into a dragon with freezing breath and terrible talons.

As for appearance? I wear a black cape, similar in concept to Piccolo's from DBZ and I have a black skull mask over my head until I remove it for the fight. Black armor and white gauntlets.

Yeah, some of you will hate me for this...
Come on worthy hero, face my might. A demonlord such as myself can get bored letting the minions have all the fun. Let's fight.

Awesome thread. Here's my scenario:

Having been playing my supposed "allies" for years in order to set up a final conflict which I intend to finish by ending the battle with considerable collateral damage to everyone involved (for some philosophically convoluted and most likely mistaken view of the greater good), the Hero has broken through enemy lines, having finally realised what I intend to do, in order to save the lives/homes/liberties of everyone fighting.

Throughout my time as a top-ranking mobile suit pilot for the "villain" team, I clashed with the hero on numerous occasions, each time viewing him as a noble opponent and fighting the battle with honour and dignity. There was nothing personal about it. We were simply on the opposing sides. I viewed fights with him as simply part of the facade, and slightly regretted that we had to fight as we did, though this did not stop me doing my duty.

But now things are different. Now the mask has fallen, and I'm fighting to bring my master plan to fruition. Now he's not opposing what I represented, but my own will. And while I retain my respect for him, and perhaps slightly regret what must now happen, the chivalry is gone. This is a battle with everything I have been planning for on the line. With no hesitation or restraint, no code of honour or categorical morality to overrule me, I am going to annihilate him for the sake of what must be done.

Boomer Kuwanger theme!

Story: (now that I thought of it edited it in)

I'm a hero too, recognizing that the only way to actually get anything done, you have to wrestle the apathetic into action, and dissuade the god-complexed vile who never think they could lose or have threat posed to them. To do that, serious threats have to be made clear, so people obey me. I'm not wrecking stuff and killing people for evil reasons, but noble ones. Evil actions must be performed in the service of good. However, I am viewed as a bad guy (think of me like Punisher).

The 'hero' shows up, but he is shallow-minded and only looks at the thinnest of surfaces in situations. "You made someone die" is all he cares, not that the person I disemboweled and hung with their own entrails over a street lamp was someone who tortured children to death and kidnapped women for the sex slave trade. No, he only cares I killed someone. This fool has to be defeated and so does anyone like him. But I don't want to kill him, no, it would be far better for my purposes and that of all worthwhile people if I just explained the situation.

Tit-for-tat, we fight as its a guarantee it'll happen. As the fight drags on he starts to see my point, but before the fight could start to wind down, the news shows up and it's being broadcast... there's no longer a chance for good. We are now both locked in a fight to the death, both of us knowing we shouldn't kill the other.

If I kill him, my ability to be viewed as a Dark Angel with Blood Tipped Wings and a Flaming Sword will be gone forever.
If he kills me, he knows that no one else can stop the rampant evil in the world.

But the camera...

A hero dares invade my sanctum? (still totally not an innuendo ;) ) Skulls for the Skull Throne!
[sub][sub]Admittedly that seems to be my response to most things these days[/sub][/sub]

Alternatively, dance off:

Curse you! That had always been my theme tune when it come to this type of topic (or favourite game or character music). Well good thing I have a backup song for this-
What can I say I can't decide either Fire Leo or Frost Tiger themes so I went with the combined version! I guess I could have a fiery and angry temper toward the hero or I could be giving that hero an ice cold death stare!
