So, I could use some help proud Escapists and believe me when I say I will return the favor (Should this go under the advice section?). I have no idea what games on sale to get off my wishlists. I've tried checking the Humble Bundle and I'd rather not start delving into the bottom of the barrel that is Origin and GreenManGaming. I mean, don't get me wrong Origin has improved and the latter isn't bad, but I'm just not interested.

What do you all think I should go for? Like I said, help me and I'll help you on choosing a game or games from your lists.

First off the bat should be KOTOR and if you like it KOTOR 2. And I was actually a fan of Myst(which I DID beat without help, thank you very much!) and the Roller Coaster Tycoon series.
Truly those 3 series of games could last you until August, probably mid-August.

I actually already have both KOTOR and KOTOR 2. I have them both on Steam, 2 on PC, and 1 on Xbox. The PC 2 was given to me by an old roommate and friend when I used to go to college in Northern California b/c he knew I never had played it, only the 1st one. I beat 1 when I was a kid and 2 I got an hour in and just stopped playing for no real reason. I'll pick it up again eventually. The only reason they are on my wishlist is to gift to a friend of mine. Knowing Myst and Roller Coaster Tycoon are priorities is good to know though so thanks.

Got ya though I don't think I'll get Mass Effect on Steam due to its lack of a 3rd one. I'd rather buy the series together even if people really hated the 3rd's ending (I hear the game is good otherwise anyway). Damn EA wanting to hog the 3rd one on Origin.

Keep in mind that I do intend to wait till these are on sale if they aren't already. What about you guys? Unsure about what to get off your wishlists?

I never tell you to play the 2nd or the 3rd game. I don't play them either.
However The first Mass Effect is a stand-alone Experience. You don't feel the need to play the other games. And this is a VERY good thing, because in our days it is very rare.

Roller Coaster Tycoon I highly recommend. If you haven't played them yet, I recommend the first or the second. 2 is basically 1 with additional stuff. (It may have different parks, I don't recall.) Personally, I didn't like 2 because everything it added used a different aesthetic than the first game. The first game is cartoony in style, while the second uses all the stuff from the first game and then adds in some new stuff that uses a realistic style to its aesthetic so the two don't really go together well. Personally because of this, it bugged me enough to not play 2 much. 3 is really neat once you get good at the first 1 or 2 and want to go 3D.

Here is my steam wishlist, But I don't plan to buy anything soon.

I am thinking about getting a Wii-U in the next couple of months though and wouldn't mind hearing suggestions on it.

As well, PS2 games that maybe I haven't heard of and should try.

That's good because I recognize only so many games on there and those I do recognize aren't immediate must buys based on what you're saying lol

I go back and forth on getting a Wii U personally. It's something I think you should wait a while for personally. Wait till it's on sale and wait till it's a newer, updated version. It's got enough games but it's not really making a point for itself quite yet. It's getting there though, it's getting there.

Well, we all know the PS2 had great support from all parties so there's all games each of us hasn't heard of and should try. I never had a PS2 but I know someone who did/does. A couple of friends of mine have shown me this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BZ_3511_dis (Just putting the video in the post isn't working for me for some reason). Looked fun and Hideo Kojima worked on it so can't go wrong there.

I recommend the entirety of the Metal Gear Solid, Monkey Island, Prince of Persia, Devil May Cry, Tex Murphy series; Watch_Dogs is endless fun: Imagine a Grand Theft Auto game where you can cause giant steam explosions, blow up guards with their own explosives and spy on everyone; Gex is fun as long as you do not expect the excellence of a Mario or Mega Man; I would recommend getting The Evil within instead of Aliens Isolation: It is a much better game and horror story with much more imagination; Tomb Raider is wildly overrated, and I would recommend SNES, Genesis and NES platformers instead of PS1 platformers.

There is nothing but awesome shit on the WiiU: Bayonetta 1 and 2 bundled together, Rayman Legends, three Mario games, Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze, The Wonderful 101, Ninja Gaiden 3 and Resident Evil Revelations; and soon, you will get X, Zelda, Mario Maker, Star Fox, Mighty Number Nine, Shin Megami Tensei versus Fire Emblem and Bloodstained: Lots of great games.

Definitely get MGR:R if you enjoy a good action game. Or, I should say "get into" a good action game. Because this is one of those games you just have to get into. Beating once on normal is not what this game is for.

Quake 2 is a game I go back to every so often. May I ask why UT2004 is missing from your list? I guess you probably already played it? Otherwise I would consider that over all the quakes.

And, finally PoP TtT.

I have heard mixed things about Watch Dogs from people who share similar opinions to me. I have heard nothing about endless fun from these people. The Evil Within I've been told is mediocre compared to the shiny Alien: Isolation, but, to be fair, I have heard this from people I'm not sure share a similar perspective on games to my own.

Like I told Savagezion I think I'd wait a bit longer for a Wii U. Personally? Probably another year. I really don't care for 7 of the 17 Wii U games you listed honestly, but I know you were not recommending to me, but to Savagezion. Just my perspective.

I just bought that a few days ago when it was on sale on GOG. No worries.
