1.Majora's Mask
2.Ocarina of Time
3.Wind Waker
4.A Link to the Past
5.The Minish Cap
6.Twilight Princess

I've played a couple of the other titles, but not to any serious degree. To be honest, I was so unimpressed by Twilight Princess I don't even want to try Skyward Sword. Twilight Princess had several problems, from my point of view.

*The way the plot was structured made me feel like I HAD to be doing certain things RIGHT NOW. I remember a bit where the kids are first kidnapped, and how flow breaking it was to then go and fart around looking for Skulltula's.

*Why does Twilight Princess feel so emo to me? Like it was trying to keep up with the "edgy" crowd? Well, in my opinion, it probably was.

*Where the hell are all the mini games?? There are like three in the entire game! OoT is filled with fun little side thingies, from chasing down cucoos to the Bombchu Bowling Alley (or is that MM?).

I could go on, but I don't want to be crucified by my fellow Zelda fan boys.

1) Twilight Princess - I really loved the overall plot and Midna as a character =) Also the massive open-world feel.

2) Ocarina of Time - Again, I loved it a lot. The music was more memorable to me than Twilight Princess was but for lack of other interesting characters, its 2nd.

3) Wind Waker - Sailing around was damn fun! The motion was flawless too, my only grievance was it felt a tad on the kiddy side and less on the epic side (although the final fight does make up for that)

4) Skyward Sword - Loses points for lack of areas to explore (thus lots of backtracking), forgettable music and Fi but wonderful aside from those.

5) Majora's Mask - Don't get me wrong, I loved it. I just didn't like the rewinding time every 3 days mechanic - it felt like I was never really accomplishing anything. That couple you reunited? Well that's been undone. That civilization you saved? Never happened. Getting masks didn't compensate for that.

6) Spirit Tracks - Nowhere near as good as everything else so far - my reasons are basically just why I think it's better than Phantom Hourglass. And they are i) controlling Phantom Zelda, and ii) NOT going back to the same dungeon over and over. Well... you do but you don't have to repeatedly solve the same rooms so I'll excuse the Tower of Spirits for that.

7) Phantom Hourglass - It's not terrible, I just wouldn't play it again. The temples weren't even challenging.

Note: Skyward Sword and Majora's Mask are interchangeable in this list. Consider them both 4.5 if you will.

My list:

1. Ocarina of Time
2. Twilight Princess
3. Oracle of Ages
4. Oracle of Seasons
5. Wind Waker

Then there are some of the older ones on the Gamecube bonus disc that I putzed around with but never thoroughly played.

I haven't played too many Zelda games, sadly, but here goes:

1. Wind Waker. The art style in the original Gamecube version was absolutely captivating, and the combat mechanics were so very fluid and wonderful. I just wish they'd kept the art style for the HD release...
2. Majora's Mask. Really dark, but the NPCs have so much development and depth to them. It really feels like a coherent world in which people live, much more than most other games.
3. Twilight Princess. I really liked the expansive world and variety of environments in this one. The world itself isn't as great as in Wind Waker and Majora's Mask, but it's so... expansive. There are so many places to go and things to do.
4. Phantom Hourglass. Apart from the Temple of the Ocean King, I really liked how everything worked in this game. The touch controls were surprisingly tight and responsive, and while the graphics weren't great, I thought it was really good.
5. Spirit Tracks. Not as good as Phantom Hourglass, as a lot of the novelty had worn off by this point, and I didn't enjoy the train mechanics all that much.
6. A Link to the Past. To tell you the truth, I didn't grow up with ALttP. It was pretty damn good, don't get me wrong, but I never really got into it...
7. Ocarina of Time. This is probably a result of hype backlash, but I didn't think OoT aged very well. It wasn't as responsive control-wise as other games, and a lot of the innovations that made Zelda better, especially in combat, hadn't been introduced yet. That's not to say it's a bad game; I had fun with it. But I didn't have nearly as much fun with it as I did with, say, Twilight Princess.
8. Skyward Sword. "8" doesn't really do this justice. I really did not enjoy Skyward Sword. The motion controls, which might have been alright, gave many of what would otherwise be cool boss fights gimmicks, and it made flying enemies even more annoying, since I can't just target them and let loose an arrow. The upgrade mechanics were kind of unnecessary, and the shield meter was basically useless; I never had a shield broken, since doing a shield thrust completely nullified damage, and any move that you'd want to block can be dodged, as well. The sprint meter was kinda cool, but I also kinda missed rolling around in the dirt for speed, since it was so much more... visceral, I guess. I dunno. I just felt better.

Majoras Mask.

Obviously not, but still. I hate time limits on games, and Majoras Mask is one huge gigantic time racer. Yeah, I know you can rewind time but that still isn't good enough. Seeing this giant fucking moon coming in forcing me to do stuff. Hate that shit.

1) Ocarina Of Time - While I found it too easy and I have to limit myself to find it challenging, the over all design of everything as well as the music and sounds in this game is bloody genius (though some of it reminded me of LttP). The way they introduced everything made it feel really... magical. As a kid I used to replay the dungeons I found them so fun, and I kept taking up all the save files at my favourite parts and boss fights. I haven't done that for many games. The 3DS version can kiss my ass though.

2) Majora's Mask - This is a perfect example of a sequel, and one of the best sequels ever. It had a very different beginning making it feel fresh, it ramped up the difficulty, and while the style was essentially the same, it did have it's own unique feel. While I find the design and music not as great as Ocarina Of Time (though it certainly had it's moments), it improved greatly in storytelling, not to mention I found it... scarier. I haven't played it for awhile so I may prefer it when I get around to playing it again.

3) Twilight Princess - I first played this with the Wii mote and that's where I learned to hate it. While being tortured by that crappy remote, I still managed to enjoy the chaos thrust upon me, and Midna is definitely one of my preferred companions. I felt this game was a cross between Ocarina Of Time and Majora's Mask but didn't really compete with the strengths of those two. Also, I found fighting for my life out on the plains much more difficult the temples and even the boss fights, though I really like the sand temple.

4) Link To The Past - This just missed out on the 3rd spot. It was the first Zelda game I ever played and I believe it is the second best game on the SNES. Generally, everything in this game is well done, though I found it really painfully hard as a kid.

5) Wind Waker - I'm not a fan of the style lets just say, and the pacing put me off in this as well, aaannnndd I reckon the controls were a little too responsive for me, though none of it was bad. I really liked the idea of trailing around on the boat but I can understand the people who became impatient with it.

6) The Adventure Of Link - I like the simplicity of it, but it doesn't do anything amazing really. Good fun game though if you like dying, so much that you eventually have to take your anger out on something/someone.

7) Skyward Sword - I hate the controls, the vomit of colour hurts my eyes and Fi can go to hell. This is the Other M of Zelda's for me.

Ever play Twilight Princess on Gamecube?
No I never did, though I did own a gamecube. I bet it was FAR FAR better without that gimmicky trash attached to it.

Ocarina of Time
Windwaker
Twilight Princess
Majora's Mask

Majora's Mask hits the bottom since I really hated the time mechanic. I've played the first two Zelda games too, but I never got far and didn't like them at all, so they got excluded.

Bare in mind that I haven't played ALL of the LoZ games like Oracle of Season/ Age and Four Sword Adventure etc-

1 Ocarina Of Time
2 Wind Waker
3 Link to the Past
4 Twilight Princess
5 Phantom Hourglass
6 Majora Mask (I admit I didn't finish it since I found the countdown abit annoying.)
7 Spirit Track (It was too similar to Phantom Hourglass and gave up on the last Dungeon.)
8 Skyward Sword (They removed some feature that I liked while hating the new one aswell and it had too much padding.)

Can... can I include Darksiders?

Also, I can't do this, I haven't even played ten Zelda games. I also can hardly rate the ones I have played - all of them were flawed in different ways, but wonderful nonetheless.

01 Twilight Princess (Wii)
02 Link's Awakening
03 Majora's Mask
04 Ocarina of Time
05 Skyward Sword
06 Spirit Tracks
07 Phantom Hourglass
08 Wind Waker
09 Minish Cap
10 Oracle of Seasons
11 Oracle of Ages

I briefly considered explaining most/all of my choices, but I just don't have the attention span today for it. I guess the important thing to know about my reasoning is that I put a lot of value on interesting characters and their place in the world. Thus: Midna, and Clock Town.

Well my list will be limited and will likely piss people off but whatever its my list.

1.) Okami - yup had to be done it just totally ripped off the Zelda template and made it its own, the best Zelda game isnt even Zelda.
2.) Four Swords Adventures - With four people this is an amazing game with some great puzzles shame its not that great single player but with 4 friends (and 4 GBA with link cables) its amazing.
3.) Twilight Princess - Reminded me of a worse Okami game but Midna is a great companion in her own right.
4.) A link to the Past - Great game but annoying in places
5.) Windwaker - Good fun game and I liked the art style
6.) Ocarina - Yeah I never thought much of this game its good but just not that good imo. I actually hated it on release I thought it looked and played terribly it was only much later I went back to it and found it to be ok. Its better than Mario 64 though.
