Alright, it's been quite a while since I've seen a superhero-based thread, and the Search Button confirms that, so I'm going to roll out with this one. I reserve the right to send my Sea Kitten [http://ettf.net/wp-content/uploads/2007/05/tiger_underwater.jpg] out against anyone who mentions the Search Button.
The point of this thread is simple: Make a hero and a villain (Yes, and. Not or). Be sure to include the following:
Here's the catch, though. One of the two, hero or villain, must be based on yourself. This includes their powers. For example, if you're strong and can take quite a few hits, then super strength/invulnerability should be their ability. Let's see what we can come up with, yes?
The point of this thread is simple: Make a hero and a villain (Yes, and. Not or). Be sure to include the following:
Name: Only a costume name is needed, though providing their mild-mannered alter ego names would be a nice touch.
Costume: This is pretty easy. What do they wear when they're kicking names and taking ass? Colors, material, and whatnot should go here.
Power: What do they do that makes them super? Do they have incredible strength after eating sandviches? Can they sharpen pencils with their mind?
Weakness: Every good superhero needs a weak spot, whether it's an achilles heel, a glowing rock, or a character defect.
It's not required, but a short backstory/bio is welcome and encouraged.

Name: William Howard Gann III, Alias "Bear"
Costume: Bear doesn't wear a costume. He finds that casual clothes are more comfortable and much less silly-looking. Usually seen with an olive green jacket, brown shirt, and blue jeans.
Power: Super Strength, Invulnerability, and limited Telekinesis. Though unable to mentally pick up and throw objects, Bear can generate walls of solid force much to the effect of a shockwave.
Weakness: Though not subject to any form of glowing rock or achilles heel, Bear flies into a blind rage when truly angered. Fortunately, he is a patient person by nature. Note that this rage is not like the Hulk, in that it is more of an "Oh shit" moment for opponents then it is a primary ability. He also develops Glowing Eyes of Doom [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/GlowingEyesOfDoom] while in this state.
Bio: A small time artist and a calm introvert by nature, an encounter with a bear spirit at an indian reservation gave Bear his abilities and his name. He was thrown into the hero world by a series of random events and has rolled with it since. Usually the voice of reason of his team, Bear is quite the reverse of the Tank stereotype. In fact, his reserved and orderly nature compels him to limit the collateral damage he causes, no matter where he may be. He is happily married, and responds to concerns about the wellbeing of his wife with, "I'd like to see them try."

Name: Michael Dean Petzin, Alias "Chaos"
Costume: Changes often. Prefers a simple leather jacket, blue jeans, and black fedora.
Power: Greater Shapeshifting/Limited Matter Manipulation. Chaos can change the form and material of several objects, including himself. HIs most notable abilities include dissipating into a mist-like substance, forming weapon-esque attachments from his arms, and changing his appearance at will. It should also be noted that as he can constantly reformat his cells, it is likely that he is immortal.
Weakness: Electricity prevents him from shapeshifting. Running an electric current through his body keeps him in his current shape and makes him vulnerable to attacks he would otherwise dodge using his mist form. Projectile electricity such as lightning and tazers are still ineffective, as he can dodge them quite easily.
Bio: It is unknown as to what Chaos truly is, or how he got his powers. Speculation includes theories that he is a god, a collection of sentient yet unstable particles, or just a very powerful human. Regardless, it is agreed that he has probably been about for quite some time. His name comes not from his power but from his nature, as he flickers constantly between the personas of a sly manipulator and a fun-loving fool. He is quick to make jokes, and is always plotting some silly antic regardless of the situation. Chaos is in the villain business for no other purpose than his own amusement. He loves breaking things and messing with the order of everyday life, and honestly doesn't care whether or not a plot succeeds as long is it's a blast to work on. As he once said on order, "Order is like your friend's LEGO set. He builds something, you come in and knock it down. He scowls at you for a bit, and starts building again. And then you can knock it down again. That's what I love about order: It's one of the few toys that you can break over and over, and it never gets old!"
