Ah, but think about it: I've already got something that can shoot lasers (the Ring), a sword made of laser, and a suit capable of absorbing lasers. I don't, however, have anything that can lock/unlock any door, hack any computer (including ATM's) and scan for any substance that has ever existed ever. For me, at least, it would be much more beneficial to have the Sonic. I admit, it would be cool to be able to age people into dust, but it doesn't seem very practical.

The first two are so I can pull off that flying maneuver where you grapple the ground to give yourself more momentum while parachute gliding so I can just fly about wherever I want. As well as doing other grappling hook and parachute-y things.
Then the Lightsabers, Godhand, and nanomachines make me completely unkillable.
Also the Delorean will let me go around and check out history.
With that stuff I can pretty much do whatever the hell I want.
