Lance is my purebred Ragdoll cat. He'll be 10 this year, and we've been lucky he's been healthy for about 90% of that time (diarrhea and vomiting, either because of stress, minor infection, or "because he's a cat" reasons).

He's such a good boy. Perhaps the most sociable, cuddly, and gentle cats I've ever seen. He's also pretty decent with dogs as long as they don't want to eat him. Mind you I say that yet I have a scar from when he mauled my arm last year in keeping him from a cat-fight. I'm a veterinary technician, so it's part of my job to be at risk from cats being the evil/crazy mofos they are. In fact, there were two today!

(don't worry, none of these pictures contain my scarred arm. But there is a baby-kitten one!)

Picture is a coupla years old now but she still looks exactly like she does in the picture.
Right down to how she's led and how active she is. 14 years young this October. :)

Also, might as well include the dogs I see every weekend too.

Cute dog, til he pissed all over my bed yesterday.
Then he was a bastard. -_-

Curled up on the right. That's the quietest he's been in ages, he normally barks at anything that moves. :p

I'm noticing a distinct lack of reptiles... you racists.
Well, here's my cornsnake,Pepperoni!
Sorry for my crappy camera. His favorite game is tying himself in knots all around everything he finds, including every wire behind my computer.

My family has had a lot of animals over the course of my life.
Because of this I've sort of gotten sick of them, however shortly after my boyfriend moved here they brought home a stray from under a car at Wal-Mart. My BF, who has never ever had a cat, quickly became glued to the thing and at that point I was pretty much stuck with her, so we named her Lynxie.

She's grown on me though.
Or rather, she's just grown.

She's cute in that 'soft in the head' kinda way.
"Wh-what is that? That pink thing there? Bring it closer to me so that I may swat at it a few times and then fall asleep"

I've got a smooth collie.

I don't have a picture to post but the dog in this image looks close to the same.

Is...is that the cat's rifle?

Are you safe?

I mean, your cat is adorable and all, but you can never be too sure about cats.

Well, they're technically my parent's pets seeing as I don't live in the same house as them anymore, but I still grew up with them, so what the hell:

This would be Goofy. He's actually kind of a sad story. He used to belong to one of my friends. That friend's mother died of leukemia and he had to move in with his step-dad, whose house was a lot smaller. They weren't able to take Goofy with them, so he asked my family to adopt him. We did, but Goofy...didn't transition very well. He wasn't doing too well to begin with, but then he hurt leg jumping over our fence and had to get surgery. He wasn't in any danger, but the extra trauma of the operation and physical therapy left him pretty...damaged. Nowadays, he spends most of his time curled up in the corner in the picture (The house has 2 other bathrooms, but in case you were wondering: Yes, it IS awkward to use the bathroom while he's in there. He just...stares at you.) He seems perfectly happy there, and he'll come out if you call him, but he always wanders back there after an hour or so.

*sigh* Anyway...According to my mom he's doing a little better. He's slowly starting to come out on his own more and more often but...Well, it's been years since we adopted him. I'm not sure he'll ever be completely "normal" again.

This one is Zara. She just showed up on our doorstep and waited there until we noticed her. That was about...ten years ago. She used to be pretty agressive (especially when my siblings and I were just kids) and antisocial, but now she's kind of mellowed out in old age and is a lot more friendly. Also, she is deathly afraid of thunder/fireworks. I know because she used to force her way into my room, sometimes pushing aside furniture in the process, to hide under/on my bed. I actually wouldn't mind, if not for being woken up in the middle of the night by a massive, unidentified, vibrating blob of fur curled up on my legs.

This is Luke. Luke was dumber then a bag of hammers. He had a habit of running around corners too fast and falling over, had to ram his head into a glass door three times before he figured out how it worked, and was convinced that he could fit a basketball in his mouth. And I loved that stupid bastard to death. Literally, because he randomly got sick and died a few years back, despite being totally young and healthy 24 hours prior.

Wow, I had no idea how damn depressing my pets were.

Wow, did you choose your username based on that picture or something? It's basically a caption.

It took me a second to get that. Very funny, my good sir. I literally lol'd at that.

Jugo my Samoyed x Golden Retriever. If you do not give him attention, he nudges you into oblivion. He is scared of most things including but not limited to: children, tall people, mops, vacuum cleaners, certain mean looking tree stumps, having his nails cut and garden gnomes.

Oh and he's 1 and a half years old now ^_^

YAY FOR SOMETHING THAT ISN'T A CAT OR DOG

I've temporarily misplaced their older pictures so here's my birds back when they were nothing but scrawny 2-bit punks. They're roughly 8-9 months old at this point.

(pictures won't load for me so if nobody see's them I dunno what's wrong)

Image is fucked, I can't see it. I used to have a cornsnake as well, its name was Michael. Now I have a leopard gecko named Sabor. I would post a pic but I've been unable to get images working here.

Pet pictures? YAY! Here is an imgur album with my two tuxedo cats! [link]http://imgur.com/a/JGjVl[/link]

I adopted them when they were three years old from my friends who couldn't keep them - the cats had begun peeing on their toddler's things and they had a third kid on the way - and so they've been mine for three years now. (They're litter brothers.)

That was the exact same thing I thought when I saw the title of the thread ¬_¬

OT: I don't like animals so I don't have pets, however I once had one that I liked, he was a rooster and pretty much all he did was follow me around, pick fights with dogs and wake up my father at 4AM which is exactly why he got a bad case of the dinner -_-'

Add another Ragdoll cat owner to the list!
Mine is called Cilla(Cecilia) and is a purebreed made for maximum cuteness. She's a real spoiled queen in her attitude, but that's part of the charm, I guess.

Don't think I have any pictures of her on the PC, however this cat has the same pattern and eyes:

I own a Persian cat (although he really doesn't look like a Persian) named Woolley.

He is essentially a diva, and uses bites/scratches to communicate his annoyance/irritation at my inability to read his mind.

He also likes to sit in things he really shouldn't sit in.

Like baths.

Or shopping bags.
