I like movies that are ambitious failures than bland, safe, mediocre movies. For example: I thought The Phantom Menace was better then The Force Awakens. Come to think about it, The Force Awakens is up there as the most recent overrated movie. The all-time overrated movie is still Titanic. I left the theater telling the ticket seller that the movie was the worst three hours and sixteen minutes I have ever spent. My feelings about the movie still haven't improved.
I love Jupiter Ascending, Sucker Punch, and (Dare I say?) the recent DC movies Man of Steel, Dawn of Justice, & Suicide Squad. Big, ambitious, and took some chances that not a lot of people liked, but I did.
