But that was only at night, till then me and her both played games for the day, her ragnarok, me zombie panic.

sex really didn't stop my gaming, but im sure it pissed off a few people that were depending on me, lol.

At present, I'm between sexual partners. Still too soon after my divorce to jump into the sack with someone new without doing her a disservice by me still having too much unsorted emotional baggage that will really only work itself out with time. (mind you, I'm quite functional mentally, just still carrying a lot of residual bitterness.)

As a result, gaming is filling a void that used to be filled by being married to a girl who really enjoyed sex and who was always up for it any time of day or night. I've picked up a few games that I know will take up a lot of my time (Fallout 3, KOTOR, even the new Sims 3 expansion) so I'll have plenty of new and fresh stuff to fill the downtime.

That said, video games (even good ones) are NOT better than sex! When I feel like I'm ready again and when I meet the right girl (who will probably need the patience of a saint and the sweetness of a suicidal diabetic's blood to put up with me), then I will put the keyboard and mouse down and make that sweetheart of a girl into the classic "lady by day, whore by night" type I love so dearly.

Then right before I turned 17 I met a girl...and we got together...and really got into each other...and then, well, I really got into her, if you catch my drift. It doesn't, really. I don't game every day or anything (for longer than a few minutes, at least), and I tend to have long-distance relationships so the relationship is generally relatively rationed to when we can afford to see one another, so it's not like I haven't got time for both.

I like this response because it reflects on a lot of peoples' attitudes on this site. Seriously, so many on here appear to be obsessed with making sure nobody thinks they aren't having sex or are socially inept.

His purported disdain for sex in general also speaks volumes about his lack of experience.

"Sex is godawful; I can barely endure it for a full seven minutes!" This is about as believable when a 15 year old guy says it as when it's coming from a 23 year old woman.
