So I just came home about 2 hours ago and I was dying of hunger, and by that I mean kinda dizzy and barely standing mostly because I hadn't eaten anything since Monday in the afternoon, and of course I haven't gone to the grocery store in around 2 weeks and there was almost nothing left, since I was way to hungry to think, I just decided to mix everything and mix it, now what I had was:
1 Egg, carrots, celery, potatoes, onions, peppers [small](Don't even know what kind)[/small], Monterrey Jack cheese and less 1/4 of a cup of beans

And yes I threw all of this into the pan and what came out was a disgusting looking yellow blob, that was dripping butter because I used all that I had left, and yes that tasted about as disgusting as it sounds and now I feel nausea and my throat feels like it's filled with acid, so that got me wondering, do these bizarre concoctions ever work?

So have you ever done it?
Did it taste good, made you sick?
Why did you do it?

My college years. I did a lot of experimentations with ramen. None ever turned out good. Basically everything you did... and throw in some ramen.

Captcha: mumbo jumbo

Call it what you want Captcha, but it tasted horrible.

When I do that I usually make a soup instead of frying it. A little broth, whatever meat, beans or veggies I can scrounge and simmer it for a while. Great wy to get rid of leftovers.

You had all you needed to make a decent omelette (short on eggs maybe) so why didn't you do that?

Once when I went camping with my brother-in-law and nephew, we decided to throw all of the food we brought into the frying pan and cook it over the campfire. What resulted was a surprisingly good-tasting mix of eggs, hot dogs, bacon, sausage, and hash browns. We ate it with forks we shaped from twigs lying about. That was probably the best camping trip I've ever been on.

OK, I didn't think of it, probably because that would have actually made sense, and I think I lack common sense, probably the same reason why I forgot to eat yesterday and today, I really have to remember to eat at least once a day...

Some cheap quick cook noodles, made of egg, made of wheat,
Any sort of vegetable, any sort of meat,
Toss it in the wok with a dash of sambal, maybe soya sauce,
Comes out perfect everytime. Don't wanna try it? Your loss.

Get an electric skillet

Combine any of the following in any order

Chopped potatoes
Ground meat
Mushrooms
Cheese
Onion
Bellpepper
Corn
Greenbeans
Tomato
Scrambled egg
Sausage
Bacon

You can add some cream of [ ] soup as a substitute for sauce of you like.
The final product may look unappealing, but it always tastes good.

This is basically how my mother fed me growing up.

It's all about order. In that case, you should have fried up the veggies in a little butter (I don't how much was "all you had left" but too much can just straight up ruin a meal) first. Once slightly softened, you add the beans for a minute or two. Then you add the egg and after 2-3 min, you add the cheese. I don't know what kind of seasonings or spices you had on hand but you could have added some (especially some good old fresh ground pepper) to give it some flavour.

I've done that too, but it was with a plastic lid I put over a frying pan, I'm pretty sure you can guessed what happened to that.

Maybe you should set an eating alarm on your watch or something? You need some kind of outside source to remind you clearly...

But really, I haven't done that. I am not inclined to try weird combos. I'll try food from other places, but not weird mixes from nowhere XD
Well I probably should but doesn't the human body already have alarms to it? I mean I'm fairly sure it makes noises, gives me stomach-aches, headaches and overall lack of energy, and I still manage to forget, I only really remember either when I can barely stand, after I passed out or when somebody else is eating... That gives me an idea, I think I could just leave the TV on the food network all day, and that way when I'm home I'll remember eating when I see people eating on the tv, I think that could work, maybe if I start eating properly the doctor will finally let me donate blood, I quite frankly don't understand why I can't, he says it's because I would faint after he takes the blood, but I faint all the time, so it should be a non-issue since it happens anyway, besides they are the ones who told me to go donate anyway, it's really rude to tell me I can't after they made me go there at 6 AM.

Sure, but if your watch starts beeping that's harder to ignore, isn't it? And presumably you'll be wondering why it's beeping if you don't already remember and might remember that it's because you need to eat.

But if putting the food network on might work, go for it. You should try to stay healthy.

And they probably don't let you donate blood because it's not good that you faint. Taking blood might only make the issue worse when it shouldn't exist at all, you know? It is kind of rude that they told you to donate without checking if you could first though.
Well the thing is I don't have a watch, and I haven't bought another cell phone since the last one I lost which I'm pretty sure it's the 6th I've lost so far, so I don't have something with an alarm, though I guess I should buy a waterproof watch and never take it off just to make sure I don't lose it, as for the Food Network[sup]TM[/sup] well that was a stupid, stupid idea, I mean setting aside the fact that I don't have said channel to begin with, that would be a gigantic waste of energy, since it would mean leaving the TV on always, I just say really stupid things when I'm half-asleep I guess, that would explain why my brother claims that nothing I say makes sense, considering that almost every time I see him I'm half asleep.

As for the Doctor thing, again half-asleep, being REALLY stupid, though I won't deny I did get mad at the Doctor for not letting me donate blood since I was compatible, eh that was just really silly considering my brother was compatible too and he was compatible too, so I guess I was just being silly about that for getting mad at the Doctor for worrying about me, I would apologize if I remembered his name.

And in case you're wondering, yes I did eat today, apparently just planning in advance what I'm going to eat is enough for me to remember, but again I should probably get a watch just in case.

I've never tried that because I have the amazing foresight to know, given my lack of training in the kitchen, an attempt to freestyle a dish would probably turn out like shit and ruin all the perfectly good ingredients which I previously had. What I would have done (and I find myself in such situations depressingly often) would be to simply eat the carrot and peppers raw and fry the egg on its own. If I were still hungry after that I would eat some cheese and boil the potatoes in order to make a mash. In an emergency there's always the canned food in the pantry.

How does one forget to eat? Seriously. It's just a completely stupid thing to ignore. Especially when you faint all the time.
I don't know I just don't notice, and when I notice I forget after a couple of minutes, my guess is that I have no survival instinct at all, since that would explain some other questionable choices I've made, luckily I'm quite durable and somehow always turn out fine so it's ok, as for the fainting, that's not really related to hunger most times, it's just something that happens at random, always has, one of the reasons I don't drive, well that the blindness at random thing, and the fact every single time I've driven something I've crashed or ran over something including myself.

Yeah, in this case a watch seems like a good investment. You really should not be fainting all the time and it's worth buying a watch to try and curb the habits that lead to it.

And glad you ate today. Your posts really worry me sometimes XP
Well then I shall buy a watch, and again the fainting is very rare as far as hunger goes, I think last time that happened was almost half a year ago, and I know the other ones aren't related to that, because the ones of hunger go very differently as you take a while to be able to stand up after you wake up because you feel really heavy and it's almost impossible to even drag yourself around the floor, and considering that most times I can get up after just a couple of minutes I'm fairly sure most are unrelated.

And thanks for caring but, don't worry about me, there's no reason to, I'm always fine, and if I'm not it doesn't last very long, I tend to heal quite fast actually.

Needed to eat once after having no sustenance but alcohol for about 3 or 4 days. Got back to my house and my goddamn room-mate ate all of my good food. All that was left was a quarter of a steak and a few boxes of custard mix. Needless to say it was an odd mix, eating a plate that was 10% steak, 90% custard.
