Not the rebels of course, but those loyal to Gadaffi.
Apprantely the libyan people will be marching and demonstrating in favour of this i beleive, it's all pretty sketchy.

Here is the statement made by a Libyan TV presenter:

A Libyan TV presenter who claims he can talk to spirits and mobilize them in support of Colonel Gaddafi, says Libya was "proud" of the rioters in England. Speaking in English on state-run Al-Jamahiriyah TV, Yusuf Shakir said people in Libya would hold a demonstration to show their solidarity. "We support you black power in Tottenham," he said.

Is that just my fancy, or does he really beleive that his control of spirits caused these riots?

Really, it's so hard to tell with this lunatic.

So, your thoughts?

Oh, that's great.
"We support the rebels trying to overthrow you"
"Well, we support the rioters in your capitol"

Control the crowds, calm the situation, bring everything to a standstill.

Also, the Libyan is a total loony!

I guess it's because they don't have anything to be proud of in their own country with Gadaffi being a fucking retard and all.

My thoughts? About like this:

"Fuckin' A...Stuff's kinda crazy over there. Totally not looking."
And then I looked up at the ceiling and sent a prayer to the Goddess for the friends I have over there.

No other thoughts ATM..Too tired.

My thoughts? Why don't we all take to London and stand against these riots? Its all well and good saying "Oh this is sick", but if you really wanna do something about it then take the the streets and stand up for your city!

Wait Gaddafi has his own professional troll? I don't know if I should respect that or not.

....and then be confused for just another loud Rioter when the police come barging down the street.
Seriously how do you plan to make that idea of yours work? Stand in the middle of the street and scream "can't we all just get along?"

That guy's crazy!

Odd, seeing how he thinks he control spirits, and that they caused London riots.
Insanity and derpyness it seems.

Yeah using the army as riot control, say isn't that whats happening in Syria right now, real successful. I'm fed up off hearing this, no offence to the army but it's the police who're trained to deal with this. When you posted that did you even stop to think how the army could disperse the crowds, two options they continue exactly as the police are containing and arresting or the alternative, yeah it's not pretty is it, i hope that no-one would be stupid enough to give an order like that, nor any of the soldiers stupid enough to follow it. What a society we must live in if due process were to fail us.

Agreed. I mean, when this started happening in Libya, we condemned their use of the military to quash rioters, i even think members of NATO, condemned it saying: 'a government that turns it's own men against its people has lost all legitimate claim to lead'. although i could be paraphrasing

Bring in water cannons, armoured vehicles, anything. The more bodies of authority the better. There was an article in my local paper this morning saying that groups of thugs are roaming shopping centres with pipes breaking shop windows and looting.

They are installing fear to residents and businesses owners alike. Any sympathy I may or may not have had for them has long since gone. Bring in the army, work with the police detain everyone who is doing this. They don't deserve any better.

I'm trying to ring a drop of sense out if this, and coming up dry. Why would a corrupt government support rioters?

Major sarcasm, perhaps? or maybe this is a PR stunt to Make the Libyan government seem to support rioters, without directly encouraging their own? Seems a dodgy way to go about it.

fixed it for you.
But seriously, you think the Libyan people would care, they have a civil war to fight, the average Libyan probably doesn't care.

I like to think it's less pride and more smugness about how hypocritical Mr Cameron must seem right now. Fortunately, I don't see Gadaffi sending over his military forces to help quell the riots.

It's a conspiracy by Libyan witch-doctors to take control of our populace and have them destroy the UK from the inside out!

This is actually really weird. Would have thought they'd be more bothered with being bombed to oblivion rather than a few buildings being burned down in London.

My thoughts?:

Some Lybian nutjob supports a bunch of disorganised hoodlums, mistaking them for some kind of attempt at an insurrection. So fucking what? Let's try to focus on getting these streets cleared up first. Then if anyone wants to act like a fucking adult we can have something actually resembling a peaceful protest against the Tory administration rather than just recking random shit and destroying private property of those who have done nothing to deserve it.
