I would want to live the same life but change things at critical nodes to see how it plays out. See how my life would have been different.

One decision in particular I made led to 6 years of misery but resulted in my being in a very good place now.

I wonder often if I made the right decision.

Eternal paradise would be nice. But, as yoda put it, "forever sleep", would be nice as well.

I saw some write that they wanted to become a god of a different universe...

That would be win, and the start of a awesome religion...

I would want to be in a place were I'd just have fun, be able to learn, and to see my family. Either that or an eternal Lan party.

To all the people saying they would like to be reincarnated in some way with no memory of who they were, isn't that just like dieing and having nothing happen?

I personally NEVER want to lose some form of consciousness. Ideally I will be put into a higher point of spiritual existence, in another universe, that is more in touch with nature and exempt from the temptations that have corrupted me and mankind beyond salvation. For example think of the Navi (spelling?) from Avatar.

What i expect to happen is however, far less awesome.

I would like to be reincarnated as a new person, not remember my previous incarnation, but have ingrained as part of my nature the lessons I learned in my previous incarnation(s). This is basically what I believe actually happens. Coincidence? I think not.
Shouldn't we all be absolutely perfect human beings who can do no wrong, then?
Not everyone started at the same time. We've only been at this maybe 100,000 years, after all. And in that time, every generation has built upon the last.

I don't want to come back... if you come back after dying apparently you're doing it wrong. Sooo... yeah.

Death = Oblivion, no conscious thought. I can't see "how" there would be any other way. Our conscious thought is the network of connections in our brain, and once our brain loses power then what? Eternal nothing... Everything else are just people's stories to make themselves feel better about it, or explain the unexplained.

But that is all my opinion; who knows what could happen?

Ever see the movie 'What dreams may come'. That.

Good movie....not a big Robin Williams fan, but he's pretty decent in it. Definetely worth a download.

Energy is never destroyed, only transformed.

I'd like to hope that there is some form of reincarnation, even if it only happens to be vague memories of a past life. Alternatively...I almost think I'd like to be a ghost. I enjoy people watching now, so it might be an interesting "existence."
