Okay so I just finished watching the premiere of Life In A Day on youtube, and it just... well it kinda blew my mind and it was a great, amazing documentary film.
So for those who don't know, Life In A Day is a documentary film project that asked people from all over the world to send a video of their daily life, you know like waking up, what their job is, and so forth. They also asked a few basic questions like what do you love, what do you fear, what do you hope for. It is directed by Kevin Macdonald, (I would list the others who worked on this but I can't remember the names), and its just great, I loved it. They got over 81,000 clips from all over the world, from third world countries to first, from Korea to Africa to Brazil to Canada. They of course edited it into an hour and a half film and yea.
And in honor of it, or tribute or whatever you call it, I would like to make a discussion. Like do you have any opinions on the movie if you have seen it? Also what do you fear, what do you love, what was the happiest or saddiest moment of your life if you'd like to share, whats your favorite places and food. Talk about yourselves and your lives more or less.
Like I'll start I guess. My passion is gaming, well its more of an adoration but whatever. I am awed sometimes at some of the works and masterpieces gaming has created and what it has the potential to become in terms of story telling and as an artistic medium.
My hobbies are reading more or less, either articles on gaming or fantasy and dystopia fiction.
What do I fear? Well I used be afraid of spiders and the darkness when I was really young, but considering I'm a teen now I got the good old fears of rejection and loneliness and not mattering and all that other good stuff. (I'm 15). Funny thing is I'm more shy on the internet then in rl for some reason....or maybe I'm just generally shy, whatever.
So yea, also I'm not very good at english or grammar so pardon any mistakes and I this is prolly the third forum thread I have ever made in my life so...if its not thread material, feel free to ignore this...or destroy it. *shrug*
