In the book Stranger than Fiction, there's a part where the main charecter tries to figure out what kind of book he is in and it got me to thinking what kind of book will my life be? Seeing as how hopefully there is still a long way to go, It seems kind of early to guess, but to take a stab at it I'd say my life will largely be a modern satire. Hoping for a kind of comedic ending, something that will make a clever poem for an epitaph, but again, that's a tad bit far away and I'd rather worry about getting into college first. Oh also the kind of book that's sort of educational and full of historical references. If I manage to work a reference to general Hanibal in there, that would be fantastic.

How about you? What kind of book do you imagine your life to be?

Duke Nukem fan fiction. Badly written with cheesy jokes, but still pretty bad ass.

It'd be pretty short since I've only lived, say, about a third of it so far. I usually sum it up with "I was born, I lived a bit, I haven't died yet so come back for the end later".

If I were to write a story about my life as if it were fiction, I've got a few ideas of how I'd go about it... but, without meaning to sound juvenile, I'd rather not go into that for fear of seeing it transplanted verbatim into a best-seller or movie in the next few years.

It will be my Pick-Your-Path type book set in a world very much like 22nd Century Earth.

Mine would probably be an intricately woven and well-written romance story. My life tends to be like that, though the whole Happily Ever After thing hasn't arrived just yet.

Then again, my story has only just begun.

"Today is where your book begins. The rest is still unwritten."

Sorry, couldn't resist.

One that's really not worth reading, but was a hell of a lot of fun to write.

Well so far probably a pretty boring one, but hopefully it will get more interesting! Maybe some adventure or romance in the future? Who knows!

I'd hope that my life's book would be written by Chuck Palahniuk. Really dark humor and written succinctly.

Well put. I may have to quote that some time.
Thanks, it's because of you that I even thought about it. So feel free to quote anytime.

My would be exciting, with much journeying to far away places, and finding hidden treasure in exotic locations. I don't feel like writing any sarcastic comment after what I just said so create your own.

A satirical, philosophical examination of western society and its many flaws. That is my life, I have been questioning society since I was 5 and I don't plan to stop anytime soon.

About as interesting as the dictionary, rather thick and probably secondhand as the first person who bought it did their best to get rid of it. What? At least I'm honest.

You know those ones that are just wierd with some form of plot that's completely ignored? Yeah, that kind. The only people who would enjoy are people who want to interpret it as some stance on polictics or religion or something and call it art, when it's really not.

My life would be a large History textbook with the middle hollowed out and filled with a plastic bag full of weed.
