I started the 5-2 diet around the middle of July. Since then, I've lost 2 jeans sizes.
A friend's mother told me that 2 jeans sizes equal about 8 kilograms. I don't know if she's right about that, but it feels fantastic that the diet is working. While I can't really say that I was fat before I started (I've got a naturally sturdy build, as much of a bad excuse as it sounds like), I look slimmer and I feel healthier. Yay!
That feels like a small victory for me. And that got me thinking: What are some of the small things in life that have made you feel like a winner, or generally awesome or satisfied?
Other feelings of accomplishment come from getting a story posted on NotAlwaysRight's sister pages, I've found. I've gotten one on NotAlwaysRelated, which was also one of the top stories for June, and three on NotAlwaysLearning. I would link them, but I'm not sure if that's against the rules, or if anyone cares for that matter.
