My mistake, I really should read up on what magic can actually do in this world

"I can fly. I can get inside."

"Well, Princess," Clay began, taking a sip from his scotch, "that's somethin' I'd actually like to see. Might not be too inconspicuous, though I suppose a diversion would clear at least some of the eyes from the skies. If you could get one of these sneaky fu-"

Clay fumbled with the word momentarily, taking into consideration of her and thinking a bit of cleaning in his vocabulary was in order. "Err, sneaky fellows in that building, the target should be an easy catch from there."

"The comfortable ones usually end up dead."

"Ain't that the fuckin' truth," Clay said, subtley referring to the Orc's own swiftness to make himself comfortable next to him. He nudged Cross's ribs with his elbow and whispered to keep from being overheard and nodded in the direction of the near-eight-foot chromad, "I take back what I said earlier, he's the One-Ton Wonder. Guess I'll have to come up with somethin' else for ya, hoss."

"Hey, Avalanche," Clay said, looking across the booth at Avalanche and noting the man's silence. "You look like you got somethin' cookin' up in that noggin of yours. Whatcha thinkin', pal?"

@Gabanuka

Not to mention being 'admired' by my character and he made a pass at her. I forgot she was only 14 (>.<). Brain bleach please.

@Terratina.: I'd lend ya some, but I'm fresh out. I do, however have some Braindex and Mind-Sol if that'd work.

"I can fly. I can get inside."

Avalanche perked up a bit upon hearing this, and tried to quietly catch Taylor's scent. He was vaguely reminded of insects, but couldn't place why. I'll have to keep an eye on her... something isn't entirely right.

"Hey, Avalanche, you look like you got somethin' cookin' up in that noggin of yours. Whatcha thinkin', pal?"

"I'm thinking that we should get someone to stake out the target building." Avalanche began, contemplating the best way to go about it. " I'm also thinking that'll be me. If there's one thing I'm good at, its remaining unnoticed." He looked Clay over: the man was comparatively small, but had the lean build of a runner. Hmmm... it could be handy to have a second person... Hell, he's gonna find out what I am at some point during the mission, may as well amuse myself beforehand. "You interested in joining me on that?"

@Mortis Nuncius: Correct. In fact, I propose that the runners become Super Secret Pony Princess Unicorn Best Friends Forever.

@Terratina: Don't worry about fucking teenage girls- we're in the company of the Japanese. (I know, I apologize :3)

Cross raised an eyebrow at the short human, his hand still hovering near his knife.

He nudged Cross's ribs with his elbow and whispered to keep from being overheard and nodded in the direction of the near-eight-foot chromad, "I take back what I said earlier, he's the One-Ton Wonder. Guess I'll have to come up with somethin' else for ya, hoss."

He felt the nudge in his ribs and leaned down to catch Clay's whisper. He nodded with a smirk and whispered back.

"Gojira fits even better, Tex"

Wulf reached the backroom without knowing what Roberts had slipped into his pocket. The kid was arrogant and apparently thought he'd seen some bad shit. Considering what he had probably done, and it paled in comparison to what the elf had seen, done, and watched on a daily basis while he'd still been firmly in the Ancients. Dragging a Trog around the city for six hours by chain and his own Scorpion was the least of it.

Sitting down at the table that was in the backroom, Wulf waited and was struck by the same noise as before coming from his pocket. Pulling out the sonic emitter after a few seconds of pain and a grunt, he shut if off and shook his head. It was Roberts, that much he knew, he'd been the one that had hit the same damn thing before while he'd been leaving the last time. He put it back in his pocket and awaited the human. He would not be pleased with what awaited him down the line.

Eventually he was rewarded as Tanaka-san, his entourage, and the rest of the group that had accepted the job filtered into the conference room. The Roberts fellow was going to be an arrogant asshole brat, like a new initiate showing his tats across town for no reason, they were the first to go into the line of fire, first choices for Lone Star removement, and the last to get anywhere near the good gear in raided warehouses. He was going to learn how to walk the shadowgang line whether he liked it or not.

Nolan rose to his feet, and looked at both Avalance and Clay.
"I'll be in the back. Let me take a look at your weapons before you head out. I'll make sure they're up to par.

"I can fly. I can get inside."

How interesting. She can fly now can she? Venaticus turned to Taylor and asked "Alright, I need to know what you can do, can you hack? Though I believe it is more likely you are a magic user and in that case, what kind? This is very important because I am starting to get a plan." Overall, Venaticus was disappointed that the discussion had veered off from business yet again and fell back down to small talk.

Nik hadn't really noticed the young girl at first but he sure did now. The oddball comment didn't really surprise him - he knew at least one guy who could use levitation spells in really interesting ways - but there was something about her that set his teeth on edge. You could tell she was a mage just from the way she looked.

It was hardly a trick, mages could generally always pick out other mages. There was something about the way you carried yourself that marked you as awakened. What kind of mage however - different story entirely.

Just to be sure, Nik flicked quickly to the astral plane.
Oh fuck. He thought to himself.
The girl's signature was weird. Alien. He wasn't all that experienced for a mage nearly in his forties, but he knew shamen. And this girl was screaming bug spirits.
What did this mean? Those bastards wanted nothing but the destruction of humanity. The Chicago Incident was more than enough to prove that. But here she was, bold as brass, calmly accepting a job from a Japanese suit.

There had to be more to this, something he was missing.
And he'd thought that asshole Wulf was going to cause problems...

"Sure, pal," Clay said, almost eager to get some actualy work done. "Guess we should wait for the rest of the gang to throw in their two collective cents before makin' anythin' final. Either way, scopin' the place ain't gonna do no harm."

"Gojira fits even better, Tex"

"With as much metal as he got in'im, Mekagojira would probably be the most accurate," Clay said with a smirk. Once again he nudged the Orc and added with a grin, "Which is relieving news for you, 'cause now you can be Gojira."

"I'll be in the back. Let me take a look at your weapons before you head out. I'll make sure they're up to par."

"Hah, funny," said Clay with heavy sarcasm in his voice. "Listen, buddy, I 'preciate the concern, but the only people that touch my guns are me and the unlucky sons o' bitches that'll be eatin' from 'em. So thanks, but no thanks. I can keep my own well enough."

Roberts began humming as he waiting for Mr. Johnson to speak again, he felt a light beep at his waist signalling his pulse had gone off. He smirked to himself, Wulf was going to be trouble but the furry bastard needed to learn respect, his name should strike fear into people not contempt. if only he knew the history of The Dread Pirate, then we would of spoken better.

As he thought to himself he noticed a flicker of worry on the face of the man next to him, he was practically glaring at the young Shaman. The guy was clearly a mage, maybe he had noticed somthing beyond Roberts sight. Lightly elbowing the man he began to whisper:

"You ok buddy? Got a phobia of teenage girls?"

Sebastian watched, as various members, most of who had accepted the contract, got up from their table, or wherever it was they were standing, and began filing into the back room, where a plan was beginning to be formulated. Josh Nolan, asked the elven Adept, Avalanche, and the human Gunslinger, Clay, a questions about equipment.

"I'll be in the back. Let me take a look at your weapons before you head out. I'll make sure they're up to par." Sebastian then rose from his seat, remembering his equipment was outside.

"If you'll excuse gentlemen, but my equipment is outside. Shan't be nothing more than a few minutes. Finwe, care to see what stuff I use?" He asked his elven friend, before poking his head out the door.

"From the looks of it, still raining."

Finwe was trying to gather as much information about his co-workers as he could.
By listening to them talk to each other.

"Finwe, care to see what stuff I use?"

Finwe looks at sebastian with an suprised but happy look.
"Yes i would really like to see that."
Finwe got up with a smile and follows his friend outside to see his gear.
Upon seeing the rain he opens his umbrella again.

"Thank you for trusting me enough to show me your gear."
Finwe says with a smile.

With everyone preoccupied with chatting and showing off weapons, he figured that now would be an okay time to do some business. He reacquainted himself with Marlowe and said "Is the offer for some information still open? It is rather important."

"Thank you for trusting me enough to show me your gear." Finwe replied with, an obvious smile on his face.

"Of course I trust you Finwe, I see you as a friend. Everyone is going to see it eventually, your getting the privilege of a sneak preview. Come on, I'm getting geared up around the back, you never know who could be watching." Sebastian remarked, sounding rather cautious. He then disengaged the brake on his motorcycle, giving it a quick howl, before engaging some of the movement systems.

"Lupo, engage the wheel movement, but don't start the engine, we're only moving to the back of the club." A dark blue light on the center of the bike lit up, and a female voice soon spoke.

"Of course master, shall I begin the equipment activation protocols?" Lupo spoke in a slightly refined manner, but with a slight grizzled tone in the voice. Finwe noticeably stepped back when the bike spoke.

"Relax Finwe, Lupo is the name of A.I, that I created, that acts as my logistical support." Sebastian remarked in a relaxed tone, trying to calm Finwe down a little.

"I also manage several of the systems on Master Sebastian's bike. Especially in situations, where he is preoccupied."

"Thank you Lupo. What he said." Sebastian then began to move the motorcycle, around to the back of the club, in a quiet side alley. He then moved to the back of the vehicle, pressing a few buttons along the side. Several compartments began to open up, revealing the weapons and armour that was inside. From the look on Finwe's face, he was rather impressed.

"I have equipped you with the standard arsenal master. Your HK PSG-54e Sniper Rifle, and Vibrosword, are in the left hand compartment. Your Kriss Super V Sub-Machine Gun, and SOCOM Heavy Pistol, are in the right hand compartment. The stealth armour, is at the rear. Have fun." Lupo remarked with a slight snicker, as the light soon went out.

"Impressed?" Sebastian asked.
