Wow this looks terrible.
And I'd like to note that this is the most negative I've ever been about a game release.
Jesus, Fable 2 was better than decent. What happened? How many Devs developed and alcohol problem in the past few years because of this?

I kind of remember those little gnome-like monsters from the first one. And I remember chicken-kick'n. I dont think those count as a universe. Apart from that, everything I can remember from Fable is generic towns, people, etc that were mostly filler background for the plot and activities.
When theyve changed the visual style, theyve changed the gameplay, and as far as I can tell so far theyve removed the plot and story... what exactly is left that would justify referring to a "Fable universe"? I have to agree with the above comments that they look to have just tacked on the Fable name to a random party game for some extra publicity.

Ya if you love this game next you'll love resident evil party! You too can pick your favorite resident evil characters say like Nemesis and battle other characters like leon in a good ole fashioned board game/mini game free for all! If you ever wanted to see wesker play bowling or ride a piece of lumber to win those precious stars..errr i mean herb then you too can do it. Coming to a store near yooooooooooooooooouuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!
I really don't understand all the hate and vitriol being aimed at Lionhead. I mean Fable 2 and Fable 3 did not live up to expectations but they were still pretty good games. Much better then some of the tripe that I have seen people call good games. Also this is not their next main game, it's just a side project that they are doing, a mini Fable experience. It's new, it's different, so what. It looks like it could be fun, I for one am going to buy it when it comes out.

I dunno... I want to feel optimistic about this title, but it reminds me of so many other things done better that I can't get hyped up for this.
I wish they'd bury the Fable franchise already. It's associated with as much fail as the CoD franchise, but doesn't rake in as much profit.

I could see this getting a much more positive reaction if it didn't have Fable in the title. It reminded me somewhat of The Legend of Zelda: Four Sword Adventures on the GameCube, fun co-op but with the competative "who can gather more X" angle.
If it were named something like say... 'Little Heroes' or just 'Heroes' all of the Fable rage would be gone. There's no reason why it should have the Fable tag, it's more of a curse than it is a blessing.

Dont forget, this is a fable game and shares the same target audience, so it wont be nearly as difficult as Castle Crashers can be, and a cutesy version at that, so even easier. It wont even be comparable...WhiteTigerShiro said:
If its not so easy, and its longer than an hour (which being an arcade game, it wont be) ...it could be fun. But i know Lionhead and this is never going to be as interesting as Castle Crashers or Crystal Chronicles or Four Swords or anything... itll most likely be hold forward and mashing Y to shoot everything to death before it gets remotely near you...
Im also sad to see one of the only good characters to come out of Fable since the first being ruined even further. Chesty is not a chest with teeth. Chesty is supposed to be manipulative and play what it thinks are fun games, and bouncing around with a flapping jaw is not that.
I won't say Molyneux needs to die in a fire or anything but...

Actually, no. I miss Dungeon Keeper.
I mean, I've played all three Fables to the point where my three dudes are all respectively OPed and I have no need or desire to reload my saves with any of 'em, but still. I couldn't tell you where and when it exactly happened, but I stopped feeling invested or moved by Albion and its lore a good long while ago.
Please, Lionhead. Try and find some tiny bit of your wits back, I really couldn't care less about this. The thing is, I *want* to care, because you guys typically put out decent stuff.
