On topic though, I was kind of hoping that Fable 3 would be more of a time-gap. This seems to have either gone backwards, or launched itself into the days of a useless monarchy. We'll have to see.
That's kind of a dissapointing announcement; I was hoping for something original or at least suprising. I'm sure everyone already knew that Fable 3 was on the way.
I really liked the first Fable, but got bored and frustrated with Fable 2 way before the end and I'm not entirely sure why. I think for me to enjoy Fable 3, they'd have to go back and rethink a lot of the series' ideas, which I doubt they will do. They need to make the experience deeper, rather than just providing a wide-ranging but irrelevant set of possibilities.

Im sorry but no no no no! I am done with Fable and I am done with Molyneux. I have no reasons at all why I am not looking forward to this or why I wish it would just go away but no!
Ok Peter, the old saying is "third times a charm" your first Fable was a big booming opening that slowly died as the game went by, with so few quests and fewer towns that we felt like we were living in some desolate wasteland. Also, we aged so god damn quickly. seriously, 3 hours in and im already fifty years old! how the bloody hell can a fifty year old man swing around a greatsword? also, what the hell happended too Greatswords in fable 2? This brings me TO fable 2. Jobs...= a nice and quick way to get money in theory but complete Shite in context. Another thing, What the hell happended to Armor? Yes yes, Guns make the platemailed warrior a bit uncomfortable, but we can still use armor against the hordes of Ghosts, Hobbes, Pirates, and Ghost pirates! [ yes, its there] another thing we took away from Fable was a mana bar. Yes, suddenly those Wizardly nerds have an upper hand with unlimited spellcasting that make us brain drained, sword swinging warriors rather...useless. So Peter, For Fable three, bring back Armor so my Warrior can feel more comfortable, bring back mana bars so those damn wizards wont last long against my fiery sword the size of a small car. and bring back Greatswords! also, I dont want a dog, I want a kitty damnit!

I wonder if ol' Pete ever gets tired of using the same shpeel to sell his games. Seriously though, the good/evil mroality choice in Fable is so fucked and broken. Any game where you can go from raging Emperor Palpatine to Jesus Christ by donating to a church is lame.
Peter will most likely disappoint me again but I'll buy it anyway in hopes that Jesus will step in too perform some divine miracle and make the Fable 1 awesomeness lightning strike again and force peter to shut the fuck up
Oh, and for everyone worried about the release date I highly doubt this game will be on time, and maybe if we?re lucky Lionhead had a separate team working on Fable 2 and everyone else working on Fable 3, WAIT better yet, maybe Fable 2 was just a set up game and was purposely made half-ass in order to surprise people with Fable 3 and maybe Santa Clause is real after all and is a hardcore gamer planning to take over the industry and see to it that another shitty game is never released
