People that don't think rap is music. By every technical definition, opinions of professional musicians in the industry, conservatories/music schools, dictionary definitions, and even in historical context, it absolutely inarguably IS music. It's fine if you don't like it, you're still wrong, it's music.
Personally I believe Rap has given the music industry a whole lot of good stuff. Without it Trip-Hop bands such as Portishead and Massive Attack wouldn't exist, as the genre takes a lot of the inspiration and samples from Rap music, hence the name. That's not even mentioning stuff like the British Grime scene, which is super popular nowadays, and something that wouldn't of existed if not for Hip-Hop.

I don't even like Hip-Hop that much, and still it's derivative forms have given me a lot of great music.

Rap is music in the same way that Dub-Step is music. all the pieces are there, its just that it sounds shit :)

OP - something that annoys me is when people feel insecure about their terrible taste of music, and feel they need to justify it. BAM!

- People who use the same words to explain themselves. This stems from working in a call center. Reps get the hang of explaining something one way...when I customer doesn't understand they state the same words slower and louder leading to the same confusion 9 times out of 10.

- A noticeably fake appearance. The more natural someone looks, the more attractive I find them as their self confidence really shines through. Girls who wear noticeable levels of makeup, attention grabbing earrings, high heels, tattoos and the like all bother me on a minor level. These are things I can look past of course...but it doesn't mean I like it.

- Children. Actually that's a big thing, but pretty much everything babies and kids do is annoying to me these days as I'm apparently an old coot.

People who giggle for absolutely no reason what so ever. While trying to have a serious conversation with them.

I hate it when people just "show up" at my apartment. Text me, ask if it's a good time, or at LEAST give me 20 minutes. Showing up at my door and telling me to "let you in" will royally annoy me.

This fits in with my above annoyance: I don't like it when people see me without makeup. I don't wear A LOT, but I just feel lazy and rude if I go somewhere without it on. Same with a bra (go figure).

I also get annoyed when ladies/women don't act civilized. I'm by no means a delicate flower - in fact I'm a city rat that isn't afraid to swear and say what I want. BUT I keep my legs crossed, I knock before I go in, and I keep my bodily functions to myself. I don't care if you're my guy friend or my boyfriend: I want you to see me as an, albeit geeky, lady.
really? I dont liek the Idea that its "lazy and rude" to not wear make-up all the time..you cant be THAT ugly

I know that its acceptpted that women must wear make-up generally...but what Im reading from this is (not just you but in general) "you MUST cover up that hideous face of yours!...if you dont you are an evil ***** for subjecting others to the horrors that is your face"..I mean GUYS dont have to wear make-up do they? not even the zit-faced ones

sure Ill wear it if I go outside the house...but to the supermarket or otherwise..screw'em I dont see why people (especially people I know) should have a problem with my less than perfect face

/rant
I knew someone would probably comment about it.

It was just how my mother raised me. I WISH I could just waltz outside and not worry about my face. But it was how I was taught. Looking polished - not only makeup, but that's the example here - makes you look like a polite and approachable person. Sounds so boring when you type it out like that...

I know it's not exactly a GREAT way of doing things, but I just feel better and make an all around better impression if I know I look nice.

Video game music is designed to be in the background, and in general is lackluster when compared to real music.
how is 'video game music' not 'real music'?

as for designed to be in the background..are movie scores also 'not real music'?

lastly, there are heaping tons of totally lackluster 'real music' that are much worse than anything to come out of video games.

KETCHUP DOES NOT GO IN THE FRIDGE
NOOOOO!

Thats the main one for me.
This wouldn't of crossed my mind, but now I've seen this, yes! It really does secretly annoy me. My Boyfriends Mother *always* keep hers in the fridge, I always decline it, I hate really bloody cold sauce on my nice hot food.

Queues in shops, mainly clothes shops/high street shops in general. But not just the queues, it's when people take FOR-FUCKING-EVER to get their money out and pay, then take forever to sort all the shit out and get out of the god damn way so other people can go to the till and pay.

I swear I'm the only person who's physically and mentally ready when in the queue. I'll have my money or card ready, I'll pack my bags as quick a the speed of light and I'm gone.

oh oh oh, I know another one now - normal able bodied people who used the lift, GET THE FUCK OUT, you're taking up space for disabled people and Mothers with push chairs
i Don't know about the lift one, if your travelling more than 10 floors i think its fair game. Mainly due to the time and convenience issues.
Oh, of course! To clear it up, I did mean in a like, 3 floor shop that has escalators which are quicker than lifts. Thing is these are the kinda people I've seen who wouldn't get out for someone in a wheelchair :(

When teenage girls say "I'll never find true love" just shut up. You're young, you'll find somebody, quit bitching. I have a friend who's 17 who always acts like that and it makes me rage.
when teenage girls believe they can find love in school, is what annoys me the most..i mean C'mon! they're just being attention seeking melodramatics...

For me, it is some people's attitude. Boastful, hypocrite. Too bad you are in the same locality and clubs.

the month-day-year date format is probably my biggest pet peeve.

that and inline IF statements.
IF that annoys you, then you should stay away from programming...

ELSE...you might beat a small fluffy animal to death.

I get annoyed when people can't speak properly. Now, I'm not posh but I do speak correctly. For example must people say "Fuh-ree" instead of "Thruh-ee"? That annoys the hell out of me. Maybe it's just because I'm educated though, I mean half the British population probably can't even speak our language anymore.

People who excuse themselves for recurring poor behavior rather than just fix it.

Forums that give incentives to increase one's post count.

People who pronounce "escape" "eck-scape".

Recurring internet memes. All of my hate right there.

people who seem incapable of eating with their mouth shut, I mean a little piece of food that fits on the end of a fork is NOT TOO BIG TO CLOSE YOUR LIPS AROUND! Umm, also the sound of people filing their nails, dunno how else to describe it but it gives me goosbumps and makes my teeth hurt.

Also, people who think that whenever I'm single they hafta feel all sorry for me, like I'm so hopeless... usually I become single due to not being able to stand the ***** I'm with anymore, and if it's for a longish time, check what games have come out lately, and check my work schedule, if I wanna spend some time really getting into a game(don't want to have someone texting me 600 times an hour therefor making me pause and reply to at least half of them), or if I work really weird hours, I generally am not seeking a partner, as it's really hard to date when sorking graveyards/doubleshifts/every damn day. Considering that I am almost never "Alone" when it in between game release dates and when I have a normal work schedule(hell even working normal hours 6 days a week I managed to go out with 5 different people steadily for 3 months before making a choise and sticking with one for awhile)

And I hate people who are hard for the Toyota Prius, and know nothing about the HUGE negative environmental impact cars like that have in reality... also they generally know nothing about the car, they just like it cuz it's the "in thing".

Indeed, my family does that and my mom doesn't file her nails. She bites them off. While talking to people.

When girls at my school wear a crapton of make-up. If you want to wear a little bit, then fine, I have no problem with that. However, when you start wearing too much, you might as well drop out of school and join a clown circus because that is what you look like.

The worst part about it is that I go to high school. Girls in high school don't need to put on make-up at all - they don't need it!

The little things huh? Well let's see:

The sound of a mechanical pencil on paper. Why it annoys me? I haven't the slightest idea why.

Battery life. If the battery is supposed to go out in 2014, it shouldn't stop working after one month of use.

Other than that:

Alot of things I'm not going to waste time posting on here

When my dad sings along with songs in the car. I also hate it when he strums along with the song, as if he can actually play it. I'm tempted to make him pull over, turn to him, and say, " Dad, I don't know why you consider yourself to be some kind of musical deity, but you need to accept that you're just a guy in his mid-forties who knows how to play a handful of relatively simple songs on guitar, and you sing like a douchebag dying in the street."
