Live action movie

Hollywoods turning a lot of comic and games into live action movies now but Id like to see cartoons turned into live action, like the chipmunks, smurfs, yogi but you know good or sticking to themselves and not trying to relate to modern day.

So which toon would you like to see as live action.
note-if your character is human, theyll be played as human such as my choices
but if theyre animalesque theyll be cgi.

SWAT Kats could be an EPIC freaking movie!

I hear they're finally making a Captain Planet movie. I'm hoping it's live action to be honest and I REALLY hope they turn the controversy dial up to 12 especially since some of the episodes they played were pretty ballsy.

I'd love to see a Chowder movie but I'd like it to be performed by muppets or, puppets instead of being 100% live action. It doesn't have to be Dark Crystal but I'm not talkin' Team America either.

I'm not too sure I'd want any more cartoons done in live action and CGI, the three you listed were pretty awful films and that'd ruin my favourite 'toons.

But if I had to choose, I'd like to see more Rugrats, though their existing movies were pretty good.

My would be Samurai Jack but only if they get it right!

Same goes with Megas XLR. It would be like Transformers but bigger robots and not directed by Michael Bay!!

Um no... they will never ever work.

Thing is, most cartoon adaptions suck because they are usually 5-20 minute shows, which you then try and flesh out to an hour and a half. Dexter works because it is short.

The Power Puff Girls MIGHT work, but still no CGI please... also you need to find some darn good actresses to play the girls, even then it is a long shot if it will work.

All in all I do not hink the cartoons of the late 90s work well for the big screen.

but if I had to choose, I'd say do "two stupid dogs"

But pretty much i agree with this, the films you listed are pretty ordinary. I wouldnt want some of my favourite toons ruining their reputation.

There is no way a Megas movie wouldn't be directed by Michael Bay. Megas and explosions go together like, well, Michael Bay and explosions.

OT: Samurai Jack would make a pretty cool live-action movie.
