Lizard Squad hacking group that took down gaming networks and sent bomb threats has been caught.

Several members have been caught and the group is officially disbanding.
Their official website signed off with the following message:

We set out on our journey 2 weeks ago with the plan to cause havoc within the gaming community. Our motives varied throughout this adventure. Originally it was to see if we could evade being caught and to experience the raw thrill of anarchy, not being bound to phony laws. We've been called everything from an organized criminal "gang" to complete assh***s, really we are just a bunch of guys with too much free time. Throughout our journey we met new people, gained new members, learned new things. People tried taking swings at us (and missed). We proved that even though we are little in this very big world, that a small group of friends who work together can cause a lot of havoc without legal repercussions. Today we will be disbanding, behind the green reptiles and other bulls***, we have lives believe it or not, things to do, people to meet. Goodbye.

Some members are still at large and may be caught in the future but for now we know that they may succumb to the same selling out that Lulsec was crippled by. Considering that these guys targeted a ton of innocent gamers and phoned in a bomb threat of all things I hope that the rest of them get caught soon.

Pretty much, most "anarchists" have no idea what it actually means. No laws, no government at all is actually a scary thing IMO and anyone who thinks it would be better that way has never lived in a situation where laws and government mean very little to the people around you. I have been there, and having to sleep with a weapon in-hand in case someone decided to break in and take what you have and possibly hurt or kill you is not a way of life that is worth living. Constant fear is what real anarchy is like and its not a good thing, nor is it something to aspire to.
Too many kids thinking that characters like the Joker are "cool" having no idea just how messed up a person like that really is... romanticizing anarchy is possibly one of the worst things someone can do.

Definitely agreed on that point. As much as a socialist utopia sounds awesome, its not possible due to human nature. Democracy has its flaws, but at least we've got a say in our lives as to what we want to do with them. Maybe in the future if we ever find a way to solve our energy issues and get off this rock and really start colonizing and exploring space beyond the theoretical, we could band together as a species and not fight over stupid things like land or religion... then again we may just find whole new stupid things to fight about. Either way, anarchy is -in my opinion- the stupidest ideal for anyone to wish for. I may sound like a broken record on that issue but its truth. You are so right, the people who wish for anarchy have zero chance of surviving, just like 90% of people who think they'd survive a zombie apocalypse would -in reality- be zombie bait.
