Oddly enough, there already IS a short story that has been published about a young shy female novelist who is not only the descendant of Lovecraft, but also lives with a host of Cthulhu mythos creatures as well as the Big Guy Himself [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cthulhu]. It's a love story in which they do battle with an evil Editor in Chief.
