So all you have to do is pretend to sell 3/4 inch wingnuts, but really just do whatever you want and you get paid? Best. Damn. Job. EVAR!

Where do I apply?

Here's something that's bothered me, were there real twitter accounts purely made for videos like these? If so what were they?

I'm disappointed I didn't get to see any wingnut patsies.

Also technically the marketing department doesn't seel wingnuts, the sales department does so. The marketing department convinces people to buy wingnut, which is vaguely different. That's probably why it's better to have them spend their time hang gliding.

That was bloody brilliant. Man, I wish I can work for a company that allows me to do whatever and still collect a paycheck.

An entertaining video, and oddly, an effective advertisement for wingnuts. I'm tempted to find uses around the home for them. As others have said, the mocked up blog and twitter accounts add to the amusement and whimsy.

Minor criticism is that Jeremy's character is wearing his tie too loose. It's a bit distracting, especially as it doesn't seem to have been an intentional character trait.

Was this supposed to be really funny? It's mostly people saying "wingnut".
A large part of the humor comes from the fact that they sell such a niche product--not fasteners in general, not even just wingnuts, but one single type of wingnut--and yet still market it.

But if you don't get it, you don't get it.

So I paused the video to read the romantic uses for those wingnuts.... You could have just shown that for the video and been awesome!

Nothing says "Tuning in Tokyo" . . . That's was great.

I'd buy American Consolidated 3/4" wing nuts over United 3/4" wing nuts because we all know that United Breaks Guitars. Rise up with me to boycott United so that they may halt their wrongdoings and treat guitars as people instead of objects.

Ironically, this video has done more for the promotion of wingnuts, than any marketing department coyld ever do...

I loved it!

it seems like EVERYONE has a facebook, twitter, blog and youtube channel... god I hate the bandwagon.

That's why the blog is there.

I cracked up at the bit where "it's like they're not even TRYING to sell you wingnuts."
