You fellows seem unable to do anything unfunny.

Please..don't try. This was hilarious enough.

Although, you do owe me a bottle of screen cleaning fluid. I sprayed coke out my nose when Paul said "All manner of science up in this *****!".
Yeah, that last bit was just plain hilarious.

Way to pander to internet memes u gais. So awesome. Mocking ICP is way too easy, try something harder next time. Like islamists or whatever.
That's easy too, if you're racist.

OT:You have exposed the true stupidity of rap,LRR!

Also, magnets make priceless humour.

Thankfully I just heard on the radio a bunch of guys running through the A-Z of shit music. 'I' was insane clown posse. The song LRR have done is pretty close to a song called Miracles (or it was about miracles, who cares?) by ICP who were trying to be all insightful and stuff about religion. That's why we have a scientist's rebuttal to lyrics such as "Fucking magnets, how do they work?".

Good stuff the ICP really do say "Magic everywhere in this *****"

I loved how Paul was standing there, in the typical rapper pose, crossed hands, nodding head between 1:00 and 1:30. Also, whose scientist's was that portrait that was partially seen at the very beginning of the clip?
Sir John Nikola Tesla, inventor of the Tesla Coil.

So... A small group of rappers make a video about bringing back some wonder and magic to the world (yes, the "how do magnets work" bit was stupid, but listen to the actual song), and the logical response is to slam them by telling them it's a miracle anyone would have kids with them? Wow.

The bit after the credits was funny, though.

I loved when you said "the internet!" and a series of tubes popped up. It's the little things.
Same, especially since the bit as the whole fell flat for me. A few small chuckles here and there, but the whole bit was just meh to me. I may hate rap, but I'm open to parodies of rap songs (Weird Al's "White & Nerdy", anyone?). But this was just lacking.

The stinger had me laugh so hard that everyone in class was looking at me funny. (Class hadn't actually started yet! I got there early.)

I've been a long-time fan of this site, and feel it's time I say somthing.
Being a Juggalo myself, I would like to enlighten you to (at least my) idea of the song you decided to parody.
The song "Miracles" is essentially telling other juggalos (or fans of Insane Clown Posse) to go out and experience the world with a sence of wonder and apreciation instead of closing themself off from it. It isn't a "diss" to science whatsoever.
Sure, The Insane Clown Posse didn't do well in school, or even get to far in it either, but their accomplishments speak for themselves.

All in all I did enjoy your video, but I felt both sides of the story needed some clarification.
Care to enlighten me what being a Juggalo means?

Serously weak episode this week - jumping on a flamebait bandwagon against ICP's track, when it is clearly designed as a feel-good song about appreciation of the world around us.

I don't get it - I've only vaguely heard of ICP before; and given I already find their video annoying and ain't gonna watch it, can I ask what they did in this video that would piss off scientists? They creationists or what?
Speaking as a Creationist - no. You see, I exist in a happy world between the two - accpeting that sceince is a great logical tool for making the miracle of creation even more miraclous! Finding about and explaining the world we live in honours God for we discover his thoughts after him.

Every so often though science or rather scientists overstep their mark and come up with theories that contradict the Genesis 1 six day account. Obviosuly as such accounts contradict the Word of God they are wrong but scientists prefer theories without a God they would have to be accountable too.

On a sidenote the theory of the Big Bang and macroevolution cause more problems than they solve: i.e. Macroevolution cannot adaquatly explain morality and the Big Bang is basically the theory that: nothing + time + chance = a universe
How do you know that the bible wasn't meant to be read metaphorically or that it really contains the word of god? And even if it contains the word of god, how do you know you're reading it "correctly"? What if god used the big bang, abiogenisis and evolution to create the universe, life and then evolve them into their current forms? Don't these discoveries make creation more miraculous? I think so personally.

I feel sick when religious people embrace some scientific discoveries but reject other equally valid and likely discoveries. The scientists didn't use a different scientific method when they researched big bang, abiogenesis or evolution. So the theory of gravity is just as "godless" as the theory of evolution. Look. You have choose: either science works and they're correct about evolution/abiogenesis/big bang just like they have been correct about everything else or the entire scientific system is flawed and needs to be destroyed/changed. You can't cherry pick just because you don't like some of the answers science finds. That's what science is all about, you find out the truth and then accept it (or you try to disprove it, and then accept it if you fail to disprove it). Even if the truth is ugly and scares you/disgusts you.

Remember, science is not anti-theistic but religious scientists can't use their unproven religious texts as a starting point when they go out into the world looking for the truth... (you have to be objective and not let personal opinions color your judgment) But science won't have any objection if they want to personally believe that for example evolution was guided by a god. If god showed up tomorrow and provided all the evidence needed to prove his existance then science would accept god. But until then science have to leave god out of the equation.

About your side note: The big bang theory doesn't say that. The big bang came from something, something currently unknown. Something unknown is not "nothing". Some scientists even believe that the universe might have even always existed in one form or another.

As for evolution and morality. Some scientists think that "morality" benefited social animals such as humans. The groups that didn't cooperate and just killed each other simply died off before they could reproduce. So the "moral" groups survived, could compete much better and could spread their genes to the next generation while the "immoral" ones died. As I understand it things such as sympathy has been proven to be connected to a certain part of the brain. People that has had this part of the brain destroyed or damaged are cold and emotionless.

Okay, without having read all 240 messages to this so far, I figured I'd mention to all of those who seem to be somewhat confused that I've seen before that this episide is a direct rebuttal to/parody of:

http://www.encyclopediadramatica.com/Fucking_magnets

That page has the video in it's entirety (if you dial it back) and set to play the lines (for those who don't like rap) specifically being mocked, where they seemingly most directly knock science and scientists.

To put things into perspective however, I did not really get the same message from this video that some other people did. I got the impression that the song is supposed to be about the wonder of life, and more or less saying that you don't have to be a scientist or smart to appreciate the wonder of the world around you. Of course this can be argued because to be honest the lyrics are a mixed bag.

Speaking for myself I think this is one of the more undeserved memes, and has actually sparked some extremely serious responses in one way or another, from people who strike me as simply not getting it to begin with.

As far as the Insane Clown Posse goes in general, I'm fairly neutral. I'm aware of them, but not exactly a fan, especially when it comes to the entire "movement". Strictly speaking though I think they should keep it to "Horrorcore" so to speak, which I support in a general fan due to being a fan of horror movies and novels and such.

At any rate I hope this helps some people who aren't getting what it's all about.

I'll also say that I'm surprised at how multi-talented Graham is overall, he does a lot of differant things between all of his videos.
