I thought this weeks LRR was ok, not their best though. I did like the reading of all the stereotypes though as it described so many military movies that are out there.

I always saw Paul as more of a Marines guy than the Navy...

So many possible military cliches to work with. I enjoyed this hilarious video. He should've joined the Marines. A.R.M.Y. = Ain't Ready to be a Marine Yet.

Ah this was a good one, so many cliches to work with on this one. Just wish you guys had more time to do even more cliches in other branches of the armed services.

I didnt get the muffin joke?

is it some sort of secret Canadian joke
Go to www.loadingreadyrun.com and watch yourself some Commodore Hustle. It was a minor running gag in the series.
Can't find it there. Does it have anything to do with muffin~nothing when mouth full of muffin?
Commodore Hustle ep 01-Laundry James says to Morgan "Aww...muffin. Cry me a river." to Morgan after Morgan complaining about Bill's repetitive writing on him.

Essentially it's just sarcasm.

This one was great. Funny stuff.

Also, I totally would have gone with the Sean Connery style.

You really need to work on your Military uniforms. I thought that you were police until you said it was the army. Seriously, a sweater?

And if that was your way of acting tough, then...oh you Canadians.

We were the military of the proud nation of *mumblemumble* whose officer uniforms are sweaters.

You need durable pants to withstand sitting at desk for so long.

Why didn't it get used in the episode they taped at PAX?

What's a Lieu-tenant? Show your country proud -the title is pronounced Lef-tenant.

This is a great one, gonna have to recommend it to a few friends. You see that? Word-of-mouth based advertising, that's better flattery than imitation could ever be.

PS. Also I know which force is safe! Engineering forces! They are "traditions" free :D
I would have thought that Engineers are always:
Under stress/overworked and being pestered by everyone.
Being yelled at by an irrational commander for not doing the job right.
Being overwhelmed or forced into a last stand situation as they either die fighting or try and buy time. (An exception in that they live, but still adhering to this sort of trope is 'Zulu')
