Doctor Mercy Rabbit
The former CyCorp Researcher sat down at her desk and leaned back in the chair and looked up at the ceiling. The augmented machine made a rather insightful comment. The kind Doctor Rabbit had prepared a list of requests that she wanted lay out for Viscus but knowing that he was "reluctant" to assist her, especially when it came to going against his former(?) employers. The truth was that Viscus had the potential to be a key component for a major breakthrough in the world of cybernetics and as much as Mercy wanted to be on the ground floor of this breakthrough, ignoring her compassion for people had already cost her much.
"Nothing... much." The Former CyCorp Employee started to say as she revised her list, "I'll help you but if you leave, you can never tell CyCorp that you met me and you have to forget about this location and anything in it."
She waited for a heart beat or two, allowing Viscus to analyse her vocal patterns. The battery that she'd attached to the formerly whole robotic assassin was almost empty and she needed his agreement before she attached him to a more permanent source. There was a body in the other room that her current A.I., Isabella had used to build the Augmentation lab. With a little work, it could have been retrofitted for Viscus' use. It wasn't going to be as battle ready as the power armor he faced but he'd have some defensive capabilities that would allow him to protect himself once CyCorp discovered that he was still operational.
That brought another issue. If Viscus was going to be chased by CyCorp, she might as well have something that would allow her to advance her research into Artificial Intelligence and personality transfers.
"Also..." She added hesitantly, "I want a copy of your complete program source."
With that said, the Former CyCorp associate leaned forward and pushed a button under her desk, activating a set of motors that lowered a portion of a heavy brick wall into the ground, revealing a fully stocked laboratory. A bipedal utility drone stood in the corner of the lab, looking like some sort of enforcer. The tools in the Doctor's lab appeared rudimentary and in some instances, cobbled together from various parts but the necessary tools for the installation of Viscus' head were located within. Interestingly enough, there were quite a number of Augmentations that appeared to have designs based on the blueprints that were on Mercy's media screen.
"What do you say, Viscus? Will you agree to my terms?"
