Long games

I purchased Heavenly Sword yesterday morning and completed it yesterday afternoon, now I know this was considered a short game anyway but that's really annoyed me. but then I realised I haven't had a game I haven't completed in a few days at the most in a long time.

Now I really want to sink my teeth into a really long juicy story mode so am looking for recommendations can be; PS, PS2,PS3,PSP,DS, Xbox, Xbox 360. just no wii games and definitely no PC games (my laptop crashed when I was searching the forums to see if there was a thread like this already)

Games I already have but feel will come up;
-Oblivion
-Fallout 3(actually still haven't completed but don't really care for it)
-Any of the GTAs
-Any of the MGS

Fable 2 is medium length. If you do all of the side quests and explore a lot it can take awhile.

Go with some JRPG's if you want a truly long game. A large majority of them are MUCH better than people give them credit for...

And more specifically A "Tales of" game, because they are the best of the best JRPGS

Half life 2 with episodes one and two kept me going for a while, and only cost £5!

EDIT:Ignore that. Go with a JRPG.

You want a long game? Ask some Baldur's Gate people about it (I'd recommend Baby Tea). Its supposed to be very, long, very good and with a very juicy story.

Agreed. 4 discs, each 10+ hours of gameplay (I had ten hours a disc without running around finding fun stuff). I loved that game.

Also, Cook is voiced by Lil from Rugrats. I thought that was silly.

Assassin's Creed. It's long, even though 75% of it is cutscenes.
Overlord. I'd say it's relatively long, but I'm a slow player.

Lost Odyssey ain't got jack on that.

Tales of Symphonia. On my first playthrough, I thought I was nearing the end of the game, so I took everything really slowly, because I didn't want it to end. Then I discovered Tethe'alla...

Persona 3 FES includes the 70+ original story mode and the 30+ hour epilogue the Answer so that's roughly over 100 hours of game.

well final fantasy XII took me a while to complete, so I would reccomend it if you like jrpgs

Well errmmm... Rainbow Six Vegas 2 was long if you intend to get further and attain that awesome camouflage.

Deus Ex Invisible War can be replayed with different play styles for different biomods.
Any Prince of Persia game (except #4)
Any Hitman game
Splinter cell games are rather long and replayable.

Ignore if someone says Portal, even if it is fun... for two hours.
