I want to know what your longest gaming session was, and how you did it. For instance a while ago I got L4D2, and Dirt 2. I started gaming at about 11am that morning, and besides bathroom breaks, and running out in the kitchen to get snacks, I did not stop till about 5am the next day.

So, What was your longest gaming session?

19 straight hours. No food. No bathroom breaks.

Not sure if I should be proud or ashamed...

I don't really count the hours I game, but when I'm with friends, we sometimes go on for 17 hours or more at a time, starting at 11 AM and finishing the following morning, with bathroom breaks and people taking naps under the desks, of course. And once, we stayed up for more than 90 hours and still managed to play L4D. But we didn't spend the whole time playing that game, fortunately.

Never more than 3 hours at a time. My performance starts to fade after that time mark, but after an hour break, it's right back to gaming.

Longest video game session? Dead Rising 1. Survival mode, trying to get the laser sword. That was, what, four days in-game? I managed it in two sittings after triple-checking that my Xbox wouldn't shut itself off to save power.
Longest tabletop gaming session was something like 40 hours back when I was young and full of vim, vigor, and precious creative juices.

You seem to have posted this thread twice. Since this is the more popular one, I'll repost my answer here.

I went for an ungodly amount of time, 68-69 hours straight, stopping only for toilet breaks and snack runs.

What was I playing? Mass Effect 1, then used that save game to complete Mass Effect 2.

I was pretty much on auto mode near the end, I can barely remember what I was doing.

16-18 hours of WoW back in the day. Woke up, WoW. I can't remember if I ate all that much. I haven't played it for about 2 years, and I'm probably getting back into it when Cataclysm comes out, but there is no way I will ever let myself get as bad as I was. You bet your fur.

Keep in mind this coincided with a week of similar days.

Probably about 24 hours, but that's with small breaks and food. My friend messed up my Vice City save, so we completed it again, then it corrupted again somehow, so we did it again. We were rather young, been messed up ever since...

Win sir..just pure win.

My longest would have to be two days. Only the occasional bathroom break, I don't need to eat while playing.

Back in high school during breaks I used to play from around three in the afternoon till seven in the morning.

Me and my friend played through all of MGS4 in about 16 hours. There were two stops for food, though.

Wake up at 9:00 A.M., play games until 2 to 3:00 A.M. the next morning. Sleep until 9 or 10 and repeat.

That's how most of my summers/vacations were spent while I was in school. Good times...................for me anyway.
