Longest Gaming Session

I am a huge fan of auto racing (PROPER auto racing, none of that hillbilly, maybe-I'll-turn-left-then-speed-then-turn-left-again NASCAR bullshit) and so is my closest childhood friend.

As such, we were excited when the official 24 Hours of Le Mans game came out. We went to his place with another friend of ours, shut ourselves off from the outside world, and did the full 24 hour racing session, taking it in turns as the pilots do. It was pretty damn fun, but never again.

Solo, I may have broken the 12 hour limit once or twice with the Total War games. But that was a few years ago. Now, I rarely play for more than 3-4 hours straight.

Well i think it was about 6 1/2 hours on bioshock 2, but i'm one of those odd balls that liked that game.

Me and my friend played through all of MGS4 in about 16 hours. There were two stops for food, though.

So I take it it was a speed run then?

First time I played Oblivion I was up about 9 hours straight before going to sleep. Also when I got God of War 3 I stayed up all night beating it in one session.

I had a couple long sessions with Dragon Warrior in my NES days. The longest was close to seven hours as I recall. That's alot of dead Slimes.

28 hours. Day Gears of War 2 came out. Got game at midnight. Played until 4am next day... Should I be proud or ashamed? Seriously...

My longest gaming session without ANY breaks is 27hrs.

My longest gaming session with breaks (food,drinks,and bathroom only) is 84hrs.

EDIT: Oops stupid typo I meant to put down 64hrs for the second one.

It's probably somewhere around 10 hours. I went down to my basement after dinner and didn't emerge until the sun was up. The amusing part is that I don't even like the game that I was playing (I think it was Warhawk or something), but for some reason I just kept going until well past 6:00 AM, and then only stopped because my family was starting to wake up.

The longest I've spent playing a game I actually like is probably closer to... 6 or 7 hours with CoD4.
