Longest time spent on a single game

The only recorded one is ME1 which is about 45 hours-ish (I did 3 playthroughs to get achievements...). I've probably wasted untold amounts of time playing MMO's. Here's how I break down my time:

40% school (Damn you!)
45% gaming (Can never get to my house with all the consoles often, so mostly MMO's)
5% basic functions (eating, producing waste, sleeping, etc.
10% internet (Talking to you chumps!!!)

On weekends or holidays:

85% gaming (no MMO's because I finally have sweet, sweet access to consoles)
2% basic functions (you wimps and your need of sleep!)
13% internet

Most likely WoW, but modded Oblivion is probably a close second, followed by Fallout 3, and then perhaps life. It's all a game, after all.

Well, the one I can actually keep track of is Left 4 Dead. My stats tell me Ive played 558 hours, but I mustve played twice that on Goldeneye64 back in the day.

I'm just about to clock 200 hours in Pokemon Platinum.

Also I've spent about 120-150 hours on the xbox 360 version of Fallout 3, a game I loved so much I bought the GOTY edition for pc just for that fact that the 360 version won't let me install user generated mods.

also back when I used to play WoW, I'm pretty sure I accumulated about a solid month of playtime.

It would be World of Warcraft by a LANDSLIDE. I don't play anymore but over 4 years I accumulated a little over 100 days played time on my mage and, let's say, 30 on my paladin.

My shoddy math puts me at over 3000 hours and that's not including all my other characters. Just my two of note.

I had a warrior with 80 days played, and three other lvl 70's with atleast 30 days each.
I've done the math before, but I realized later on, that my original /played values were off..

(80+90)*24=4080 hours.

I feel like crying. Steamwheedle Cartel was a home inside my home, sadly enough.

Counter Strike. Started beta 4.1 at end of 1999, played just about everyday from that time to around 2005. Finally started to slow down and only play off and on for the next 3 years. Slowed down even more and now I havn't played it at all for around a year.

So lets do alittle estimation math...

I'm gonna say 250 days every year for 5 years = 1250 days. Each of those days I will say 6 hours was spent playing. Somedays it was closer to 12 but 6 seems like a fair average.

250 x 5 = 1250
1250 x 6 = 7500

Now after 2005 I'm gonna lessen the days played to 100 for 3 years which is 300 days. Also going to lessen the hours a day to 3.

100 x 3 = 300
300 x 3 = 900

The rest of the time spent playing is too miniscule to calculate. So our final total spent of wasted time playing Counter Strike is.....

7500 + 900 = 8400 HOURS! Thank god I fucking finally quit that game!

If I'm not close to one full year's play time I'd be surprised. I'm not kidding. In fact, I just downloaded that altoholic mod, I'll go add it up now.

Crap. 401 days. Four hundred and one. 9624 hours. And that's excluding various bank alts and one toon I rolled solely to chat to some girl I knew. Now that I've added all that time up I'm starting to realise why that relationship never really developed.

So, 401 days. 9,624 hours. Do I win?

I think my old Ruby version might have had more simply because I got really bored in 5th through 8th grade, but I'd definitely have to say Pokémon Platinum has the most recorded time on it at 428 hours, and still kicking until March when it will fade into the void that is out-of-date games as I enjoy Pokémon Heart Gold and Soul Silver.

Over the years, probably thousands of hours of Counterstrike: Source. That or the original Unreal Tournament. I only got Xfire very late, and thus started cataloguing my hours spend on games rather late. But I do know that I played CS:S a LOT over the count of several years.

Also, I really don't understand how people can spend about 3000+ hours on Oblivion. I love it, but there isn't that much to do ingame now is there?

On one save? Fallout 3, about 140 hours.

And about 15 days total on WOW

In total,
FF7 (i've played it probably 7 or 8 times, each one 40+ hours)
FF8 (pretty much the same, but shorter)

There are just so many ways to play. With all those skills, races, and birthsigns.

Can i assume that is with more than one save file?
