Pretty sure it was Heavy Rain. I beat the entire game in less than 24 hours and only turned off the game twice... once to sleep and once to go to the store for something but I was glued to the TV playing it. Absolutely loved it and couldn't think about anything else for days.

I know it was also released on the PsP soooo ill probably go with that version.

Yeah, even the slightest bit of skin oil on the tiniest part of a disc can make it unplayable.

The PSP version is basically the same, but has a slightly extended version of the A ending, and has pre-rendered CG scenes to replace a few parts of the story. But yeah, it's way cheaper in comparison.

It looks like a fun game.
Im looking it up on Wiki and the Combat sounds interesting, and the plot as well.

They were on those black discs, so I guess that's why they are so easily destroyed. There's basically as much information stored on each disc as possible since it was such a large game space wise for the time.

The combat system is what makes it so much fun. And the plot is pretty good, but the C and B endings make most people hate the entire game.

Endings B and C destroy some of the fans parings or kill off some characters?

Both easy. Longest in one sitting:36 hours, WoW, getting my first toon to 70 after Burning Crusade. Longest total time: 426 Days, 20 Hours, 32 Minutes, total combined /played time between my toons.

B basically comes down to, "You sure did that thing we told you to do. Bye."

C is the bad end if you completely fuck up the objective of the game and it's a punishment to stop you from wasting your time. And yeah, A is the only canon one, and directly leads into the second game.

I guess it was probably Metal Gear Solid 2. Beat it in one sitting the day it came out. Something like 13 hours or so.

Other than that? I guess Bioshock. Also beat it in one sitting at something like 10 hours.

Yeah, that's basically it. It's not hard if you intentionally want it. It's not hard to avoid if you don't know how to cause it either though.

Yeah, that's basically it. It's not hard if you intentionally want it. It's not hard to avoid if you don't know how to cause it either though.

Ill defiantly keep this game in mind once i get a PsP.

Counterstrike... played competitively since beta 3. Easily thousands of hours. Also did the metagame in Pokemon D/S, so there's another several hundred hours spent raising the little bastards.
Longest in one sitting is probably Chrono Trigger from start to finish.

If you count Half Life, it's sequels and mods, I've probably spent over 3k hours in total. 381 hours in Gmod, according to steam, is my highest recorded time.

haha i think he ment it one sitting ... for me probly halo 3 , or cod mw2 iw as sick one day and played the whole thing throug on ventran , and maybe fallout 3 probly the most i ever played a game in one sitting would be like 5 hours

Lol 6 hours is small time.

I think I finished Heavy Rain in one 8 hours setting.

Anyway, my record was when Wrath was released. I played it on and off with a break or two to get some energy drinks for at least 36 hours or so.

The sad part is I knew a ton of people who kept playing after i passed out, and most of them were leveling much quicker then me(I was finding it hard to stay concentrated on leveling when so tired).

In one sitting would be Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey for about 6-7 hours

Total time spent would be Pokemon Pearl at around 170 hours

also, Ive got 140 hours on FFXII, and I havent even finished it.

Longest sesssion on one game is probably Sly 2. I just love stealing. Mayeb played it for 8 hours straight
